I turned off the light and shut the door for her to sleep, she needs rest after whatever she have been through. I rest my back on the closed door "my mate is scared of me" I said to my wolf "you mean our mate" my wolf replied "you know what I mean" I sigh in defeat and went to my office hopping to rest a little before morning because tomorrow will be a long day,I hope my mate will have been calm by then . On getting to my office I saw light reflecting from the open door, I know either Gage or Asher is inside "couldn't sleep" I said to Gage who was lost looking out of the window with a glass of whiskey at hand " not quite, congratulations on your mating by the way" he said raising his glass, I sigh and proceed to pour myself a glass " I will say thank you but now is not the time" I reply taking a sip of my drink "talk to me brother, what is wrong" he said resting his hand on my shoulder. I take a sip again and look down in defeat " with everything going on,I found my mate after waiting for a long time thinking the goddess have forsaken me, I finally found her and she is scared of me, me Gage the one person that was supposed to protect her " I said with pain in my voice. Gage sigh and stay beside me using the desk to brace himself " I don't know how you feel right now but I will tell you this, she is human Gage not a shifter, witch or any paranormal walking this earth and how she gets here is a mystery non of us know and judging by her look am not sure she knows either but what matters is that fate brought her to you alive and not dead so my friend give her time let her open up to you and get to know her ", i let his word sink in " thank you brother, you are a true friend indeed " I said with a smile"don't I know it" he wink " you look worn out, a little wind can knock you off your feet " I told him "said the pot to a kettle " he replied making us laugh " anyways I will try my possible best to get some sleep tonight, until tomorrow my friend " he said walking out of the office " until tomorrow " i sat down on the couch resting my forearm over my face " Ria" I said drifting off . I dreamt of a white wolf with a dark crescent moon shape on it forehead, it eyes were green like Ria's, flowers bloom where it walks. The wolf turned around as if being caught then vanished. I woke up with a pounding in my head due to the whiskey I had before bed, went to the restroom and clean myself up I need to be presentable to meet my mate then proceed to my room. I open the door and there she was sleeping peacefully in the middle of my bed with her blonde hair fanning her face, I swept it away from her face and she moan the smell of her arousal hit me clouding my senses, I close my eyes to calm myself holding my wolf back and her eyes open.
