Chapter 13 - Summer Dates

Ellie's Point Of View...

    Laying beneath my warm light grey blanket in my favorite white sweatpants and white crop hoodie combo in my queen size bed. My hair in a messy bun and my face make up free only leaving me with a smile. A smile I owe to Hunter and the thoughtful date he planned for us. As our first date as...us?

    I close my eyes picturing my hand going through Hunter's dark brown hair that was gelled to perfection tonight. Giving me a perfect look into his gorgeous tan face but especially his deep brown eyes that drew me in. His pink full lips that I wish I could kiss one more time tonight as I did before going through the door of my house. I keep picturing Hunter and replaying our date in my head until I finally fell asleep with the though and picture of his face on my mind.

            "....come on we have to wake her up"

            'Is that Angel?'

            "Then your gonna wake her up!" 

            'What the hell...Is that Eric and Angel? Why can't they let me sleep!'

            "Noo! I did it last time remember?" 

            'Yep, that's Angel...I know that annoying voice anywhere. Ugh, I'm gonna go to jail for murdering my brother. I NEED SLEEP like they need to leave the toilet seat up'

            "Oh yeah she punched you in the crotch"

            'Why does Triston have to laugh so loud in the morning?'

            "Not funny Triston. Why don't you wake her up?" 

            'WHY! Why can't they let me sleep in? Don't they know I only get few chances to sleep in?!'

            "Because I don't want to and I did it the time before that. Remember she punched me in the crotch too so.."

            "What did I tell you guys about waking me up?" I glare at each of my brothers who stop their discussion about who is gonna wake me up. I was so tired of hearing them bickering about the same thing and being wussies about waking me up. It is simple...DON'T WAKE ME UP and I won't hurt you. Honestly what could be so important to wake me up knowing I hate it so much. 

            "Well, I guess we could send him away..." Eric says in a sing-song tone and the three of them head for the door.

            It took about a second before I knew who they were talking about. In an instant, I stop them. "Tell him I'll be down in 5 minutes okay?" I look at them giving them a look that says not to let him go or else.

    I head straight for the bathroom where I brush my teeth and wash my face. I leave my hair in the messy bun I slept in. I go into my closet and pick out my white sports bra and panty set. I put on black leggings, white crop hoodie from Nike, white vans, and a black and white cap. 

        After another minute or two I was done and went downstairs to see my brothers and Hunter staring at each other. Until I came down the final step Hunter rushes towards me. While my brothers go behind me like my personal guards. 

            "Hey, Ellie" Hunter says while flashing me a breathtaking smile that made my heart pick up. 

            "Hey, Hunter..what can I do for you?"

            "I-I w-was hoping you wanted to go out for lunch." The look on his face shows how nervous he was just by asking out to lunch. I don't know why but I liked how I had that effect on him. 

            "Sure..where?"

            "I was thinking about Will's dinner but we could go somewhere else if you want."

            "Nah I love the food at Will's dinner."

            "Great um thanks for keeping me, company guys." He gives a nod to my brothers who return the same thing with a brotherly glare. Telling him to behave and to treat me well. 

            "I'll see you guys later!" 

    I hug each of them and give them a goodbye kiss on their checks and grab my purse with my necessities in it. Hunter opens the passenger door letting me go in and then closing it for me. He starts the car to our destination.

            "So if you don't mind me asking um why did you ask me to lunch?"

            "Well, I actually wanted to spend more time with you..and to ask you something."

            "And that is...?"

            "I know this isn't romantic but I really didn't want to go on another date before asking you to be my girl. Ellie after last night I couldn't and I don't want to stop thinking about you. How we had to much fun last night by ourselves. So Ellie would you be my girlfriend?" 

            I couldn't help the smile that made its way on my face when he said 'be my girlfriend.' I take a breath before replying to him, "yes I will be your girlfriend Hunter."

            He leans over the table a placing a sweet passionate kiss on my lips making me want more and more. "Okay, girlfriend let's order." 

    I nod my head and we both look at the menu. We place our order and enjoy each other company as boyfriend and girlfriend. I can't help the smile that makes it way on my face every time I think or say those words.

    Since our date as boyfriend and girlfriend Hunter has taken me on a date every day making me spend most of my time with him. I don't mind but the girls and the guys are other things. So to please them we planned a group date with Asher, Aria, Jack, and Stephine. It was really fun seeing all of the couples hanging out together without the single guys having girls come up and flirt with our guys in front of us. 

    We send more time on group dates and hanging out with just the boys or girls since we needed some time apart. But we always talked at night no matter what. It was all going great but the sad things was that our summer was coming to an end. In two days we would begin our senior year.
