Ellie Hall Point of View
"Angel! Ellie! Eric!"
Hearing not only my name being yelled out but also my brothers I get out of my bedroom and head to the entrance way. Where I see Angel and Triston waiting for me and Eric. Soon enough Eric comes down the stairs finally completing our group.
"Wants to tell us why you are yelling out our names, Tristan?" I says as I put my hands on my hips.
"Go get ready all of you we got invited to our neighbor game night," he say to the three of them.
They all go to their rooms to change. About 10 minutes later Angel comes down the stairs wearing black skinny jeans, a light pink shirt, an olive green jacket, and his vans. His brown hair was to the side showing off his jawline. Eric wears a simple olive green shirt showing off our sibling tattoos that wrap around his arm. Paring with grey skinny jeans and grey converse. Next up me! I am wearing a light grey sweatshirt that said dreamer pairing it with black skinny jeans and her grey converse. My hair down and parted to the side letting her eyes be seen.
I look up and down at Triston before speaking, "that's how you wanna go?"
He look at himself in the mirror. He was wearing blue jeans with his white vans, a grey beanie that hides my black hair, and a pink camo color sweatshirt that makes his blue eyes pop.
"Yep now let's go before we're late," he says with a smile.
Angel being the last one out of the house was in charge of setting up the security alarms and locking the door. It did not take him long before he joined the rest of us. We make our way to our neighbor house where Eric goes ahead of us and knocks on the door. By the time the rest of us join Eric the door is opened. Their he is greeting my brother with a smile on his face.
"Hey glad you could make it. Please come in," he says.
"Thanks for having us over," Tris say with so much sincerity.
For a city that is meant to be big it sure is not big enough. The moment his eyes connects with mine I feel my hands start to sweat, my heartbeat getting louder as the seconds past. Plastering a smile on my face I muster all of my confidence for the night. But to my utter surprise, he acts as if this is our first time meeting which I am so grateful. I mean anyone in my situation would feel the same way. I do not think anyone would want to see the person who you cried your eyes out on the same night. Let alone find out he is your new neighbor. Quickly he welcomes us into his home and guides us to the beautifully decorated living room.
The living room has the perfect size couches for such an event. Three 8 seater couches frame the living room giving all of room to spread out. An appropriate size coffee table that is partially set up just missing some drinks and food. As we settle in the room I take in his friends who are hot and mostly athletic looking. Taking them in I stop when a certain person catches my attention. He seems to be giving all of his attention to the wooden floors instead of his friends who are next to him. From what I can see he is wearing all white shoes, light wash jeans with slits at the knees, a bright red sweatshirt, a black jacket over it with the letters HAY and a black hat that says loyalty.
Before I get the chance to stare at him more he looks up and immediately we lock eyes with each other making me blush. I instantly look at the ground until I hear my name being called forcing me to face the guy I was caught staring at. As I slowly look up I notice strands of his black hair coming out of his hat slightly covering up his brown eyes. Damn those eyes are so captivating to look at. I find myself ignoring anyone and anything except him. Until I hear the annoying voice of my brother Tristan calling my name. After a few minutes have passed I see his hand come out before he spoke.
"Hunter," he says with a small smile on his face.
"Ellie'' I say still blushing a little.
"So what are we playing?" Tristan asks.
"Why don't we play a quick game of never have I ever?" Leo says to all of us who agree.
We all nod and move to sit on the l-shaped couch. To my right sits Angel, Eric, and to my left Tristan, of course, they barricaded me between them not allowing me to sit with any guy who isn't related to me. I love them with all of my heart but their protectiveness has driven me to do stupid s**t. Sighing internally I focus back on what I am suppose to be doing. Leo comes back from the kitchen with bowls of different food and drinks. He places down a box of pepperoni pizza, a bowl of popcorn, 3 liters of drinks, a dish filled with sweets, and the utensils needed on the coffee table.
"Okay, so before we start let's make sure that everyone knows each other. I'll start..my name is Leo and I am the co-host of this game night," he says with a chuckle at the end.
Next up was a guy who looks similar to Leo I wonder if there brothers or maybe their cousins? He has beautiful light brown hair that makes you wanna run your hands through it and the way it has that messy look is not helping whats so ever. I like how his light green eyes clash with the burgundy color beenie but, it's a good clash that makes his green eyes stand out. The long-sleeve black shirt and black skinny jeans and burgundy color converse perfectly tailored to his athletic body.
"Okay guess it's my turn um..my name is Jack and the co-host of this game night and the brother of Leo." He sits down while another guy stands up.
I'm beginning to think I shouldn't be in this room. All of these guys are so f*****g hot that I am starting to feel insecure. Okay, maybe a little or a little every time another hot guy comes up. Look I'm not saying I'm not attractive but I am definitely the least attractive in this room. My blue eyes don't compare to my brother Tristan's blue eyes, a trait we got from our late mother. His are a bright deep blue that clashes perfectly with his dark black hair.
And don't get me started on his perfectly shaped eyebrows and the natural pink color of his plump lips that shows his white teeth. His flawless light tan skin and his athletic ability on the field are something else entirely. Plus he is the sweetest yet tough overprotective brother. Tristan being 6'0 with a muscular body helps him look intimidating to people who don't know him.
Eric has beautiful flawless tan skin, the same lips as Tristan but the same color hair as mine. Beautiful rich dark brown hair that has a slight curl to it. I could run my hands through his hair and never get bored. He has the right thickness and length that makes you want to play with it for hours. His eyebrows a dark brown and his eyes a hazel green color. He has those eyes that make you melt. I think that's a trait all the boys share. With the height of 6'0, he is a beast at wrestling rarely losing his matches.
Angel is almost the exact opposite of Tristan. He has dark brown hair and hazel almost green eyes could captivate anyone who stares at them. So many girls have fallen for Angel and Tristan's eyes. Back home these two players had every girl falling for them by a simple look. His perfectly slender shaped eyebrows frame his tan skin making his pink lips stand out. His 6'0 muscular phasic intimidate anyone who goes near me. At times having three athletic intimidating brothers can be a pain my ass. Honestly, they deter any guy whoever has asked me out or should I say tried to ask me out.
If by some miracle and I mean like finding the fountain of youth the guy actually asked me out well then there are so many more obstacles he has to get to. Like having to prevent Eric from placing the poor guy in a chokehold or having Angel and Tristan intimidate him by threatening to unleash the whole varsity football team on him. Gotta say being friends with all the boys on the team of my brother's defiantly has its disadvantages. Like being looked at as their baby sister they have to protect.
It makes me think if I am actually worth the time. I don't know if I am or not but I try to ignore that and focus on my own team. My coaches, teammates, and basically anyone call me first lady. I got that name from my coach who said I am the team. My athletic ability has pushed our team to the top and it will stay there as long as I push myself every game to be the best. But I secretly think it's because of my dark brown wavy hair, sapphire blue eyes, my thick eyebrows, my flawless tan skin, plump pink lips, white teeth, my 5'9 height, hourglass figure is described by my teammates as the wife of a rich old guy. I am honestly going to miss those guys so much.
I shake my head and focused on the guy that's coming up. He has light brown hair that is styled perfectly that shows his thick eyebrows. Dark brown eyes capture your attention immediately and a smile that shows off his perfectly straight teeth. He is dressed in his dark shinny jeans with his tight-fitting red flannel and black converse.
"My name is Asher or Ash for short." He says and winks at me at the end before sitting down. He gives off that brotherly friendly vibe that I knew my brothers and I would get along with. I knew that for sure about all the guys. It was a relief to know some people before having to start school.
"My name is Kyle or Ky for short," he says with a genuine smile that makes you smile even more. Sporting his usual black skinny jeans, all-white shoes, leather jacket and a grey tee underneath showing off his tattoos that complete his outfit. His dark brown hair is that just waves of perfection with his greyish blue color eyes and thick eyebrows add to his chill vibe he has going on. Next up was a guy who was obviously the goofball of the group. His brown hair and honey color eyes framed his face perfectly.
"Hey, I'm Carter." Rocking all-white Adidas paring them with his dark wash skinny jeans that are ripped on the knees and a white t-shirt.
"I'm Sebastion or blondie as these guys refer to me." Sebastian taking more of a relaxed approach to his outfit was wearing grey sweatpants with a matching grey sweatshirt and white and grey shoes and his aviator classic Ray-Ban. His Ray-Ban hides his blue color eyes while his sweatshirt that is over his head covers up his longish golden locks. Sitting down a guy who honestly looked like the partier of the group stepped up from the comfort of the couch.
I let out a giggle that catches the attention of one guy in particular. He steps up now showing his red sweatshirt and jacket combo, jeans that fit him perfectly and his clean white shoes add to this sexiness. I can see a glimpse of this tattoo on his right hand. By now he has taken off his hat that shows off his dark brown hair, his thick eyebrows, full lips, and brown eyes frame his tan skin beautifully,
"Hunter" was his simple yet direct response to us.
Now was our turn. Eric stood up first. "I'm Eric and I am the lucky twin of this girl over here." He says with a chuckle referring back to me.
I stand up from the couch and face everyone. "Hey, I'm Ellie."
"Tristan."
"Angel now let's begin," he says with a smirk
Hunter Young Point Of View
Even though I planned on meeting her tonight it did not go according to my plan I rehearsed with Leo. When we walked to where I last saw her I was nervous if this was going to work which then made me feel panicky. All of these what if's kept going through my head that seem to never end. My brain coming up with all of these questions and scenarios that made me over think everything. All of this happened as I wait for her to come over. I have never come close to acting or even feeling like this before tonight. I feel this need to see her, hear her voice, touch her wavy hair, and so much more.
I only came out of my thoughts when I felt someone was looking at me. Which were confirmed when I looked up from the wooden floor and see her. But to my surprise, I find my angel already checking me out. A blush on her cheeks has me feeling happy that she was interested me to a degree. As we go around introducing us to one another I could not keep my eyes off my angel. She was wearing a light grey sweatshirt that said, dreamer, black skinny jeans and grey converse. The perfect combination of comfort and cuteness all wrapped up into that angel.
Her long wavy brown hair that reached her waist was parted to the side. Allowing her to show off her thick eyebrows and her sapphire blue eyes. I couldn't help but linger on her full pink lips wishing I could walk over to her and capture her lips in a passionate kiss. I couldn't help how I was feeling by simply looking at her and her doing the same things to me. God this girl is already driving me crazy and we haven't even had a whole conversation but that will soon change. I remind myself I have to keep focused if I am going to survive this night.
Once all my friends and I introduced ourselves to them it was their turn to do the same. I was nervous as to what they were going to say. Where one of them gonna say they are all related or they are all friends living in the same house? Or maybe one of them is dating her? All of these questions were running through my head until one of the guys spoke. The moment the words 'twin' left his mouth and her following with 'their sister' I was about to jump off the couch run to her spin her around and take her to my room. Where no one would bother us. I was over the moon knowing I had a chance with my angel, Ellie. I was so distracted that I didn't realize we started the game until Ash nudged me.
"Come on Hunter I know for a fact that you did that." He says while smirking while I'm confused as to what he was referring to.
"He said never have I ever had multiple threesomes in one night," Sebastian said while holding up 9 fingers while wiggling his eyebrows like a creep.
"Oh yeah sorry I uh was distracted," I say while putting down one finger.
"Okay now that we're all focused. Never have I ever tried to hide a hickey," Jack says while scanning the room seeing if anyone would put down a finger until he stopped at my angel who now has 9 fingers up. She just shrugs her shoulders. Getting a mix of surprised and shook looks from her brothers.
"Um okay never have I ever had a one night stand," Ky asks while looking at me.
I sighed and put down another finger followed by Ash, Jack, Leo, Sebastian, Carter, Angel, Eric, and Tristan. All of them except for Sebastian and I had only 8 fingers up while the rest had 9 fingers up.
"Never have I ever had a b***r in class," Ellie said looking at us.
Her brothers looked at her with a glare as all of them and the other guys and I put down a finger. After a couple more rounds Leo, Tristan, and Jack had 4 fingers up, Ky, Ash, Carter, Angel, Eric had 5 fingers up, Sebastian and I had 1 finger up, and Ellie had 6 fingers up. Ellie was up next to ask.
Leo Thompson Point Of View.
"Never have I ever had a booty call," Ellie says.
All the guys put down a finger making Hunter and Sebastian the losers of this round.
"Why don't we take a break before starting another game and watch a movie?" I ask as I clean up the mess on the table. They all nod and I turn to the DVD collection but stop and turn to Ellie and her siblings.
"Why don't you guys chose the movie while my friends and I clean up the mess," I suggest to them.
"Sure," Eric says for the group.
I nod and make the guys help clean up the living room. About 10 minutes later it looks decent for a movie night. Jack came with extra blankets and pillows. We all settle on the couch and wait for Ky to come back from the kitchen with the bowls of popcorn.
"So what movie are we watching tonight?" Ky asks as he gives a bowl to Angel and another to Carter. He wiggles with his bowl in his arms between Hunter and me.
"Hope you guys aren't scared of paranormal movies," Ellie says with a giggle.
I hit play and the moves start off with the usual warnings. Soon enough it says, Winchester.
3 Movies Later
About halfway through the movie some of the guys fall asleep on the couch. Some leaning on each other while others are on top of one another. I slowly close my eyes letting sleep take over or should I say tried to let sleep take over. Over to my right side, I hear Ellie trying to get my attention.
"Psst psst, Leo" Ellie whispers yells to me over the sounds coming from the movie.
"Yeah, Ellie?" I whisper back.
"Could I use your bathroom?"
"Yeah sure let me shows it," I say as I get up from the couch I was previously sitting on.
I guide her to the bathroom off of the kitchen. As I am about to leave Ellie grabs my arm forcing me to stop and turn around to face her. I am a little surprised she would do this but I am more curious as to what she wants to say to me.
"Leo, I want to thank you for inviting us to your game night with your friends. I know they had a lot of fun...." She pauses before giving me a hug then continues saying. "....and thank you for this morning for not rushing me and actually being so sweet to a stranger. I'm glad you talked to me..and that hopefully, we can be friends after this." She says with so much sincerity all I can do is nod.
I don't know why but she left me speechless. From the moment I saw her cry I felt the need to protect her. I shake my head at her trying to hold back the tears trying to fall from my hazel colored eyes. I look away trying to have some dignity left. Looking at her I take a deep breath as she gives me a comforting smile like the one I gave her some hours ago.
"Ellie I think after this night we all have become good friends," I say with a chuckle, then continue with, "and about this morning just let me know when you are ready to talk about mending those broken pieces, okay?"
She nods then leaves for the bathroom. I take a moment to calm myself down then head to the kitchen for a much-needed shot of tequila. But I stop mid-step as I am surprised to see Hunter at the kitchen island dowing a shot. Did he overhear our conversation or even saw Ellie hug me? I take a breath before going up to talk to him.
"Hey, Hunter is everything alright?" I ask trying to figure out why he is drinking a shot when he usually only drinks at parties.
"Why was Ellie hugging you, Leo?" He says voicing his sadness. I have never seen Hunter like this before.
Just hearing the hurt in his voices makes me feel guilty when I know I shouldn't. I know how the situation might have looked like but Hunter knows who I am. He knows I would never hurt him deliberately. I feel conflicted with my loyalties. Should I even say how I know Ellie and what that hug meant? But wouldn't I be betraying the little trust Ellie has shown to me just now? With all of this in mind, I make my decision that will hopefully put Hunter at ease.
"Hear me out okay?" I say and he nods for me to continue. "I was making my way to my car when I hear someone crying. I looked around until I saw a girl crying in her car and that girl happened to be Ellie. I didn't know that at the time all I knew was that this girl needed to vent to someone so I tried my best comfort her. You know who she reminds me right? As I waited for her to say something all I could think was about her how both of them needed someone to talk to. They both needed someone"
Hunter nods again understanding who I was talking about. "Just now she said thanks to me for inviting them over to hang out with us and she thanked me for this morning. That's it Hunter all she wants is to be friends. Plus I saw the way she looked at you soo..."
Hunter slightly blushes at my comment. He looks back up at me with a small smile. He comes up to me giving me a bro hug. "Thanks, Leo for telling me and I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions Leo." He says while pulling away from our bro hug.
I nod completely understanding where he is coming from. We move back to the living room where soon Ellie comes back to sit in between her brother's sleeping forms. She was about to wake them up when I cough loudly trying to gain her attention then I quickly nudge Hunter to say something. Thankfully he gets my cue.
Hunter's Point Of View
"Hey, Ellie why don't you spend the night over? Your brothers are already asleep and you look tired plus I don't think Leo and I can carry your brothers to your house much less their bedrooms?" I say while pleading with my eyes for her to says yes.
Before she can respond she yawns which gives us her answer. She gets comfy on one of the couches that's not occupied by anyone. I go to the closet in the hallway in search of a blanket to cover her up. I find a grey soft blanket big enough to cover two people. Placing it gently on her body I admire how peaceful she looks. With a final look, I go to the couch next to her and let sleep take over with a smile on my face.
Next Day
I wake up to the smell of bacon and maple syrup which can only mean one thing. I make my way to the kitchen where I can hear the sizzling sounds of the bacon cooking mixing with the sounds of the Weekend song Heartless playing through the speakers of a phone. I stop and lean on the entryway admiring the view in front of me. Ellie moving with the beat of the song while flipping the pancakes and stirring the batter. Suddenly she turns around and lets a yelp escaped her lips.
"Geez, Hunter don't do that to me!" She says while trying to control her breathing.
I can't help but laugh at her reaction as I move to sit on one of the bar stools. She goes back to cooking while I stare at her for a while until she speaks up.
"Why are you staring at me?"
"I can't help it" after a moment I ask her question, "Why do you blush so easily?"
"I don't blush that easily, okay?" She says while pointing the spatula at me forcing me to put my hands up as a show of my surrender.
We continue to talk as she finishes making the last of the pancakes. At one point I was the one flipping the pancakes while she set up the table. She kept dancing and singing while I watched her with amusement. That was until she left the kitchen to wake up everyone.
"See all the girls that ever spent the night here never make us breakfast, you sure are a keeper, Ellie," Ash says while serving himself.
It was a weird but amazing feeling of how Ellie and her brothers got along so well with all of us. It felt as if we've been friends our whole life. Like we do this every day and will do every day. I couldn't help but feel so happy and excited for what is to come.
