Blakes POV
As we neared our home, I found myself unable to look away from her.
It felt as if my eyes were completely glued to her, watching every little movement she was making. My mind still in that hunting headspace, ready to pounce on her if she attempted to flee again.
But as she kind of just slumped over my brothers upper body, her arms bent slightly with her head resting in the palms of her hands, her eyes naturally fixating on our surroundings as we passed them by. She seemed to have accepted her defeat.
It made me quickly come to the conclusion that our chase was done for tonight at the very least.
