Roman’s POV
Raven turned to face me, her expression softening. "Roman, it's okay to be scared. I’m scared too. But I appreciate your honesty."
“Like, what if I mess it up or something. I don’t want to. I want to get up and run but I’m afraid of being away from you.”
She blushed as I felt something flutter within me.
I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of my emotions. "Raven, from the moment I met you, I knew you were special. I’ve never known love, never felt it, but with you, it’s different. I want to be with you, to learn and grow together."
She reached out, taking my hand. "I feel the same way, Roman.”
Her words filled me with a warmth I had never known. I leaned in closer, my heart pounding. "Raven… I love you."
