Roman’s POV
Pacing the room in anger, I stayed watching the healer work on getting rid of the poison in Raven's body.
I was so mad I could barely rein my wolf within.
I wanted so badly to show how mad I was to the entire pack and destroy those who had caused harm to my guests.
The disrespect had to stop. I had already given a speech to the people to accept the girls, why would they disobey a direct order.
“How much longer is it going to take? Raven can't suffer like this. We need to get that wolfsbane out of her system now!” I growled.
The healer, focused on her task, her voice gentle yet firm turned to be. “Please, be patient, Alpha. I understand your concern, but healing takes time. I'm doing everything in my power to remove the poison from her body.”
