Astra's surprise was evident on her face, her eyes widening briefly before a smile broke out.
“Like a date?”
“Yeah,” I said. “Something like that.”
“So it isn’t a date.”
“It is a date.”
“I would love to," she replied, her voice filled with genuine warmth.
Relief washed over me as I realized she had accepted my invitation.
