I was focused on getting to the garden and getting out of here but with Emilia in my face I couldn’t do that.
“And you are?” Astra raised her brow in anger, stepping in for me.
“Astra, it’s okay,” I said trying to quell the violence but she was not having it.
“No, I want to see what she would say. What’s your business with what my friend has to do or where she has to go? Shouldn’t you focus on training her and stop badgering her?”
