“He lost his father,” sighed Raven as I agreed with her words. “I don’t think he was thinking clearly.”
“Then why jump to such lame conclusions as imprisoning your guests when you know how important they are.”
Raven listened intently, her brow furrowed in concern. "I don’t know,” she sighed, her brows creasing further. “Do you think Gusto had something to do with his father's death?"
"It's possible," I admitted. "Gusto has not always been ambitious but it’s not out of the way to think he was just pretending to be a klutz, and his rise to power was suspiciously timed. But without concrete evidence, it's difficult to prove. In the meantime, my ambassadors are suffering in his dungeons, and I need to find a way to free them."
