Chapter 32
Raven’s POV
Astra and I moved quietly, trying to avoid detection as the two mobs clashed, their vicious cries and the clash of weapons filling the air.
“While they fight each other, we can get out of here and find our way back home.”
Astra thought it a good idea and we decided to go with it.
As we navigated through the chaos, we found smaller members of the mob fighting against each other in the forest.
Our only goal was to survive, to find our way back to safety.
But with each passing moment, it seemed less likely that we would make it out without getting caught.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows, lunging at Astra with a knife.
I acted on instinct, throwing myself between them, taking the brunt of the attack.
