I really needed that shower. I lay in bed and soon before I knew I fell asleep. The Sun blinds me and I am woken up by a loud knock at my window. Who would be knocking at my window? And how? I was upstairs? I look out my window and there I see a pair of hands hanging from the window! I look down and it’s my best friend April! We have been friends since we were little. She is a little wild. I laugh and pull her up. “What the heck! Why did you do something like that!” She sighs “it’s fine haha!” And plops on my bed. “ So you are 18 now, how does it feel?” She motions for me to sit next to her. “It feels weird. I've been having a lot of trouble lately. I also went to a party on my birthday.” I paused and she looked at me confused. “Oh a party?” She smirked. I roll my eyes and continue. “Yah. It didn’t turn out well. I found my mate but he is a player and really rude! He had s*x on the bed next to me knowing I was not passed out anymore! And watched me too!” I feel my heart beating faster. April puts a hand on my back and growls. I know she is not happy at all. “That ass! I will kill him! Who is he?” I look down. Should I tell her? Yes I should. “ his name is Kyle.”

“Wait, are you talking about Kyle from your training class? The one in my algebra class that always has a new person to touch?” She looks at me worried. I growl. I can't help it a wolf is very territorial when talking about their partners with other people. “Yep that’s the one…” I feel tears coming and my eyes getting watery. “Oh honey. No, don't cry beautiful.How about me and you go to our favorite restaurant and get drunk, forget all about him?” I smile “yeah that sounds lovely.” I get up and find some clothes to put on and change into them. I always change and shower and do everything with April there. She also gets ready and we head out.

We arrive at the restaurant and she holds my hand. “It will be ok let’s have some fun ok!” I nod and we walk in, it's oddly not as packed as usual. We get our seats. And order the burgers and boba. I get distracted halfway through as April is talking about her birthday and how she had been rejected by her mate and never looked back. I look around and April notices. “Hey what's wrong?” She says. I snap back and look at her “nothing just I feel something?” She looks at me confused. Then that’s when I smell it, the sweet lovely smell I love so much but dread because I know exactly what it is. I bend over leaning to April “My mate he is here!” I whisper. “WHAT!” She raises her voice and I quiet her. “Shh you are too loud.” She whimpers “ sorry I can’t control my voice I’m a little tipsy.” Let’s drink some more.” I finished my boba and I decided to go along with her and order my first alcoholic drink. She is on her 10th beer already. It takes a lot to get wolves drunk but she was trying her hardest and it was kinda working. The waiter comes over and hands her my drink. She smiles and thanks him. She gives it to me and smirks. I giggle. But not soon after I feel eyes on me and they send shivers down my spine. Who could be looking at me like this? I lean over and ask April if she knows. And she looks up and her eyes widen. “Don’t freak out but your mate is walking over now.”

I panic “what!” He touches my shoulder. I feel shivers down my body. “Hey, may I sit with you two?” His voice is so smooth I want to whimper. I can feel April's anger but she looks at me. I sigh and nod “sure.” I say quietly. I change seats and sit next to April. “So you are they guy that my beautiful wonderful friend is mates with?” Oh god she is drunk. He giggles and nods. “Well she doesn’t want you.” He laughs. Oh god make this end. April grabs my hand and kisses it. I look at her confused. And he growls a little. She looks over at me and grabs my face. “Honey you are drunk we should go home you need to sleep and…” before I could finish my sentence I felt soft lips pressed against mine. What is happening!?
