Lilith stood, grabbed her gear, and stepped out into the night, the weight of both her worlds pressing down on her shoulders. Because tonight, she wasn’t just hunting monsters. She was hunting the truth. The training wing buzzed with preparation when Lilith got there. Students suited up, dark tactical gear, weapons belts, silver stakes strapped to thighs, holsters for pistols lined with blessed ammunition. The air stank of oil and silver dust.
