43 Kira’s head was throbbing. She felt as if they had been talking in circles for hours. Nick wanted to cover every possible contingency, often doubling back to ask her whether she was absolutely convinced the Procurer was posing as Simon Reid and trying to poke holes in her theory. Rob had remained fairly silent. Of course, Trevor couldn’t resist putting his two cents in at every opportunity.
