“Natalia worked incredibly hard on the design of the gown to get it drawn out in less than a day. Our dressmakers worked at lightning speed to make it by today. Thank the Gods that they’re Vampires and have superspeed in all things.” Esme laughs, making everyone laugh with her.
Esme brought me and some of the other girls to the castle’s boutique this afternoon. She had been informed that my gown for the Ball was ready, and they would like to do a fitting. It had to be today because if the dress needed any alterations, it would have to be done by tomorrow morning.
Claudette, Natalia, Winter, her daughter Melody, Eden, Holly, Grace, and Haven – because she’s also my sister-in-law, and I won’t have her left out of important things – came along. Most of the other women were off doing
