The Head maid made her way out to instruct her subordinates, noticing Oscar standing at the door, his eyes fixed intently on her. "Were you eavesdropping?" The Head maid asked, her tone stern but knowing. Oscar's expression remained impassive, his silence speaking volumes. For a moment, The Head maid thought he wouldn't respond. Then, his deep voice broke the silence. "It's my job to stay with the Chairperson and protect her." The head maid ignored Oscar and made her way to the kitchen. Oscar walked close to Lyra, his eyes scanning the room before focusing on her. "How are you feeling, Ma'am?" he whispered, his deep voice low and concerned. Lyra smiled at her bodyguard, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm doing well, Oscar. Thanks to you. You're doing your job properly, for now.
