Harrison walked in, his eyes meeting Lyra's across the room. She sat on the couch, her legs crossed, looking poised and confident. The headmaid stood beside her, talking to Lyra in a low voice. Harrison didn't say a word. He just stood there, his eyes fixed on Lyra. Lyra's gaze met his, but she didn't smile or acknowledge him. She kept listening to the headmaid, her expression calm and serene. Harrison's stomach tumbled when he noticed that the headmaid didn't acknowledge his presence either.
