Selene’s scream tore through the hallway, and it was so loud and sharp that I was sure the entire estate had heard her.
Her knees slammed hard into the floor. She gently cradled her now twisted wrist, her face was contorted in raw pain. And her eyes began to get cloudy as tears filled them.
