To be an alpha was to be a king, and Cassian was the epitome of one.
He smiled, slowly tilting his head as he locked eyes with the frozen alpha in front of him.
Marie’s trembling hand clutched the door tightly, her trembling was small, barely perceptible, but it was enough for Cassian to notice, and he absolutely loved it.
Fear and shock were one of his favorite emotions to observe in an alpha, especially when they were mixed with surprise too.
“Come in,” he whispered, letting his smile grow wide, his fingers tapped softly on the armrest of the leather seat as he continued, “Sit down, Marie,”
