Chapter 14 Summit

We all woke up dressed in our best business attire. I wore a dark blue suit with matching pencil skirt with my nude louis vuittons and a crisp whit button up. I left my hair loose in waves and applied minimal makeup. Collin wore a charcoal grey suit with a black dress shirt and black tie. He went into his limo with his friends. I went into my limo with my friends and we all made our way to the hall where the summit was to take place. 

We come to the summit and make our way to the different forums and meetings that we scheduled. Paul followed me closely with Collin and Bruce coming with me to the environmental forum. We chose to sit at the back, Bruce sat at the end, then Collin, me and Paul. This hall looked like a lecture hall from college except for the leather comfy chairs that we sat in and pens laying around. Paul takes out his tablet and prepares himself for notetaking and downloading important information. He passes me my padfold so I can take notes myself. Collin and Bruce also had notepads ready to take notes. 

“Aria!” I heard my name called and looked at the entrance to find Justin, Kent and another friend of theirs waving. I wave back politely but curt. They head towards me and take a seat in the row in front of us. They turned their chairs for a proper conversation since we still had a few minutes to spare. 

“Aria you look good, how have you been?” Justin asks. 

“Good thank you, what about you guys?” 

“As good as can be. I am not looking forward to this meeting, I am more interested in that sanctions forum.” Kent said first.

“Good, just working hard. Hey I heard that you closed the Dubai deal. That's impressive.” Justin said. 

“Thank’s, yes I am proud of that too. I thought I would have to go there to finalize in person, but then it happened and I am grateful.” I said. 

Then the room was full and a scientist and military man went to sit at the head lecture table, making everyone go quiet and alert. The military man stood and approached the podium asking for our attention. Justin and Kent turned to pay attention and our meeting began. 

“Those two are getting on my nerves. I can’t wait for us to go public. Show those two you are mine.” Collin whispered into my ear and it made me shiver. I loved hearing his possessive side. I bit my lip and simply nodded. It is definitely going to be hard to pay attention with this delicious man next to me.

Hours later and too many lectures and stats whirling around and I was exhausted. We were only given a 15 minute break before heading into the next meeting. Thank goodness for Collin, Bruce and Paul who sat with me at all the meetings and kept a buffer between me and Justin and Kent. They were respectful the entire time which was a relief since last time they almost created a scene. After our final forum was done me and all the guys went into the forer to wait for our friends. 

“Well it was really good to see you Aria, I must go. Can’t wait to see you at the Gala. Save me a dance.” Justin winked and shook my hand respectfully. He then patted Kent’s shoulder. I am glad that their competition for me didn’t ruin their relationship. 

“It was a pleasure as always, Miss Aria. Save me the first dance?” He shook my hand. 

“Actually I promised Collin the first and second dance of the night. Sorry.” I quickly said. I smiled politely and I could feel Collin smirking proudly. 

“Ok, well then save me at least one dance.” He pleaded and I simply nodded. All to keep the pretense. They both finally left and Collin could not help but bump his hand next to mine and squeezed it. I looked up at him and he had the biggest smile. I smiled back. He leaned over into my ear. 

“Thank you for that. I love you.” He whispered and pecked my neck. I smiled so big I thought it would split my face. He went back to his casual stance like nothing happened. However, I was another story, my body felt hot and I was anxious for us to get back home. I was turning into a bottle of nerves. 

Finally, for what felt like eternity talking about what we heard from all the forums and meetings, our friends came to meet us. We all went into our Limos, the girls in one and the guys in the other with the exception of Paul. 

“Dam this day was so draining.” Katie said. She and Angie went to most of the forums together for design and trends. Angie went with Lily to a wellness and beauty forum. Willy, Liam and Lily went to the computer programming forum together. 

“Yes but I learned so much, I made sure to take detailed notes for you Aria. We have a few things to be more aware of. O and I did see Jake there too.” Lily said. I nodded and before we could talk more Angie protested. 

“No more business talk. I am ready to go back and figure out what to do with the delicious men waiting for us.” She said, I guess I wasn’t the only one antsy for my man. 

“I say we go back to basics and be teenagers again. There is plenty of booze and food in the house. Let’s play beer pong?” I said. All the girls loved the idea and we were squealing with delight. Paul was so ecstatic. He was feeling like part of the group. 

We got back to the house where the guys were already waiting for us. I asked the drivers to take the long way because we wanted more time to ourselves before we became victims of our love drunk state. 

When we entered the guys were there to greet us and sweep us away to our rooms to get comfortable. 

“Goodness Collin. Why the rush?” I giggled in his arms.

“I missed you, now let’s shower and meet the rest for dinner. We ordered Chinese and are going to stay in.” He said and I just laughed. 

“Quick shower, and beer pong.” I said 

“Deal.” He nodded. 

We went into the shower and had a quickie while washing our day away. Then we put on some lounging wear and joined the others in the dinning room for dinner. We all loved the idea of playing beer pong and made quick work of transitioning the dining table for our beer pong competition. Couples against couples with Paul being our ref. We were all cheering and talking back. It was so much fun. Collin and I were undefeated and doing some severe public display of affection. I think most of our friends were shocked to see us like this, unrestrained and unreserved. We just could not keep our hands off each other. Finally we were all tipsy and tired enough to go to sleep. Collin wasted no time in scooping me up and carrying me bridal style up to our room for some intense love making until the sun came up. 

I woke up feeling my face being creased gently. I felt my hair being tucked behind my ears and I smiled in contempt. When I opened my eyes there he was, the love of my life staring back at me. He smiled and I smiled back. 

“Good morning, my love.” He said. 

“Good morning.” He then leaned over and kissed me. 

“Come let us go shower and meet the rest for brunch. We still have the gala tonight before heading back.” He said and I nodded. After our shower we dressed and met the others. 

At Brunch we were all discussing going into different limos. Bruce and Liam wanted to show off Katie and Lily as their escorts. Willy and Angie were also going together on their own. I guess that left Collin and I to go separately and alone since we haven't broken our arrangements yet. A bit bummed out about that but we didn’t have to wait too much longer to make our relationship public. 

The girls and I decided to use my room to get ready while the boys went to the room next door. I bet they could not stand our giggling and loud girly music playing. Angie hired a couple of her workers to come and doll us all up. I wore a sapphire blue strapless dress that had a slight up the side that went all the way up to the middle of my thigh. My hair was in a tight low bun and my make up was classy and effortless. Katie wore a black strapless with diamond brooch in between her bosoms.  Lily wore an emerald green serpentine and Angie wore a dark brown satin dress. We all looked like classy business elites. Our men would definitely be drooling when they see us. 

The girls and I descended the stairs in elegance and there were the boys staring at us in admiration. We were all immediately embraced and dotted upon. 

“Aira, my dove, you are as gorgeous as ever.” Collin said, taking my hand and kissing it. 

“Shall we.” I said to everyone and we all made our way to our own transport. Collin escorted me to my limo and helped me get in. 

“See you over there, my love. Remember you owe me the first and second dance.” He smiled and winked. I smiled and nodded, blowing him a kiss. 

We all went to the gala entering onto a red carpet. Flashes from cameras and screaming media people welcoming us with questions and backhanded remarks. Per usual I just ignore and hold my head high. My reputation is untarnishable. 

I enter and immediately find my friends with their escorts. I walk towards them only to be halted by Juatin and Kent. 

“Gentlemen.” I greeted. 

“Miss Winters.” They greeted each other in unison and we all could not help but laugh. 

“Funny boys, you both look dashing. Hope you get lucky tonight. I heard a few rich sluts snuck in just to get some action.” I said trying to be like one of the guys. 

“Nope, not for me. I am looking for something more serious than a casual lay.” Kent said and Justin agreed. 

“So where will you be seated? I want you to come and join us at our table. Seeing as your friends all have escorts, seems only fitting to have one yourself. A beautiful lady like you shouldn’t be wondering on her own.” Justin said. 

“Sorry boys, I already have a spot at my friends table. And I am a big girl, I can take care of myself. Never needed a man before, don’t need one now. Go have fun. There are plenty of ladies drooling for your attention.” I said shooing them away. They reluctantly left and I walked back to where my friends were and Collin was there waiting for me. I hugged him and whispered in his ear, “I missed you.” I said. 

“I was about to come save you if they took too long. I miss you too. Don’t leave my side ok.” He whispered back. I nodded and we separated to make it look like we were just friends. My hands were itching to feel him as I know he feels the same way. We all sat at our table and ate a very pleasant meal. The dance floor finally opened and Collin took me to have the first dance. I really enjoyed being in his arms. When our two songs ended Kent came and we danced two songs and finally Justin came for his two songs. After Justin I had to use the ladies room where I found Lily, Katie and Angie. We all caught up on the events and they warned me that Jake was here and couldn’t stop staring at me. I knew I had to be cautious. 

We exited and made our way to our table where our guys were waiting for us. Before I could sit a pair of arms wrapped around me and turned me to face him. Jake. 

“Well, well, well, Aria. I finally caught you alone without your body guards around. Let us have a private conversation sweetie.” He said without letting me respond back he held me tight and dragged me outside where there was a private sitting area. I hope my friends saw and went to get help. 

“Let go of me Jake!” I finally demanded once we were out of sight. I wasn’t about to cause a scene. He let me go and I took a few steps to stay away from him. 

“Aira, I just want to talk. I am still in love with you and I want you back baby. I can’t live without you. Please, I am begging here. Let us start over again.” He said walking closer to me trying to touch me and embrace me. I was pushing his hands off me and stepping back only to be pushed up against a wall.  

“Let go! Leave me alone!” I screamed. He pushed harder into me and I felt his “need” for me. 

“I am never going to let you go Aria, we belong together.” He aggressively said back. I finally pushed him and slapped him. He got angry and pushed me back against the wall, knocking my head. He grabbed my hands and held them still against the wall. He was leaning into me as if he was going to kiss me and I turned my head. He tried again and I turned again. He grunted. 

“Let me kiss you again. Remind you how good it felt.” He grunted and I still kept avoiding him and trying to push him off. I was starting to panic and tears were threatening to come out. 

Then out of thin air Jake was ripped off of me and thrown on the ground. I collapsed on the floor feeling weak. All I could hear was mumbling around me as I saw Collin punch Jake senseless on the ground. 

“Collin!” I yelled. I needed him. He stopped, turned to me, got up and came to help me. Katie, Lily, and Angie were there helping me but all I had eyes for was Collin. He came again to save me. My Irish Knight in shining armor. He hugged me and creased my hair. I finally let the tears fall and sob. Here was Jake, a man I thought I loved, forcing himself. God if Collin hadn’t shown up when he did I can not imagine what Jake would do next. I could hear my friends explain the situation as security came to escort Jake away. 

“I am going to take Aria back to her place. Do not worry. I got her.” Collin said to my friends. I was still too shaken up to let go of Collin. Without letting go Collin guided me to the back where a limo was waiting. He Helped me in and made me sit in his lap. He still creased my hair and held me tight. After finally calming down and all cried out. I softly whisper, “Thank you… thank you for saving me again.” I pulled away and looked straight into his eyes. He cupped my cheek and looked back at me with an equal amount of love showing through his eyes. I knew I never want to be apart from him ever again. I feel safest when I am with him, He is my home, my heart. He has taken complete control over me. 

“I love you Aria. I know I should not have let you out of my sight. The guys told me the ass was there. I did not expect what I saw when the girls called us to help you.” He held me tight and started kissing me. I can tell too that he was scared for me. “I never want you to leave my side again.” He kissed me again. 

“You have to though… so I can personally turn in my resignation. Just this one last hurdle and then I will never leave you again.” I said. 

“I can’t wait. But I will be here, waiting and free to be with you. Katie already gave me the new address and I think maybe we should move in together.” He said and I was shocked but excited. 

“Yes, take your time moving in. I should be good to come back in two days.” I said. We came to the house and left the limo to go straight into our room. 

“When are you leaving tomorrow?” He asked as we were both undressing. 

“In the morning, Traveling this far makes me lose two days in just traveling and jet lag.” I said. 

“Then I better make the best of tonight. You can sleep on the plane.” He said and then picked me up and threw me on the bed dominating me in all senses of the word.

He took me again and again over the edge. Every crease of his hands or lips on my bare skin ignited every nerve causing electric sparks to burst. This was pure magic and we could not get enough. And true to his word we did not stop until my alarm went off to get ready. 

Collin picked me up and helped me take a nice hot bath and washed me. He carried me and dried me up and helped me change into my sundress. He was so attentive and caring. He would not let me move, he said that I deserved to be treated like a queen. He sat me down at the end of the bed while he zipped up my suitcases and placed them outside the door to be brought down. He came back and sat right next to me wrapping his arms around me. 

“This is the last time I am letting go. I can’t wait until you come back.” He said, kissing my hair and inhaling deeply. 

“I promise to come back. If it takes more than two days then come look for me. I only want you Collin.” I said ready to face my battle and come back to him. I hope that my father doesn’t take drastic measures to ensure this arrangement. If so, I am prepared to fight. Grandfather please forgive me but I chose love. 

“I will, I will always come for you. Just text me every chance you get so I know you're ok.” He says. “Are you worried about your father?” He asked and I nodded. “Well don’t be, our friends are going to help. I know Bruce, Will and Liam are going to Alaska with the girls and are helping them move. Call any of them for help just in case.” He said and I nodded. There was a knock on the door and Paul poked his head in to say it was time to go. Collin stood, grabbed my hand and we walked out downstairs and into the Limo. I was going by myself now, the girls were leaving later for Alaska and Collin was leaving after me back home. 

Collin did not let go of me. When we came to the tarmac He helped me out of the limo and then hugged me tight. He leaned down and devoured my lips. 

“I love you Aria.” He said after our Kiss. 

“I love you Collin.” I said and we finally let go. I walked away and went up the steps into the plane. I look back at Collin and give him a smile. He smiled back before I turned and sat. I was sitting down on the plane with Paul coming up with what to say in my letter of resignation and various courses of action. I needed to be prepared to take drastic measures and in that event Paul would know what to do. I even have loyal security guards that were under my payroll. This is the last time I am going to be leaving Collin like this. Sorry Grandpa, I have made my success with my own earnings. I know I can sustain my lifestyle, and Collin is not a leech. He would find a job in no time or invest like I do.
