I leave Davis's office and head back to my desk.
I sit down and stare at my computer for a moment.
His warning keeps replaying in my head.
Until they know exactly how the leak happened, they don't know who they can trust.
I push the thought aside.
I already have enough to deal with.
I need to focus on work.
I open the Orion files and force myself to concentrate.
For a few minutes, I actually manage to focus.
Then my mind drifts back to the hospital.
Mum needs treatment.
The bill is still waiting.
And I still don't have enough money.
I press my lips together.
I’ve tried every possible way to find a solution.
Nothing is working.
I can't keep hoping something will suddenly change.
I need to find another way.
