Sophia’s POV
“H-how..” Mom was surprised, and she looked at dad.
“Dear.. I thought you locked her memories? You made sure it was tightly secured right?” Dad queried and was suddenly in a panic mode. Goddess. Didn’t they know they are too obvious right now and are giving too much away?
“I did!” She paused for a little bit and it looked like she was in the middle of something—like meditation of some sort as her focus was elsewhere. Seconds later, mom murmured something, “And.. it is still locked..”
She looked at me with pain, betrayal, and sadness in her eyes and said, “Did you just.. lie to us Sophia?”
