A lot had happened during those three months. We celebrated Dame Xianth’s return the very next day after that conversation.
He didn’t attend the banquet, of course, and was just at the clinic. I did not visit him either. I mean, if I did, we would be going circles, and that topic would be endless.
It only frustrates and hurts us both. Even though deep inside, I know we both didn’t particularly aim to hurt the other person. It’s just.. it is what it is.
However, that fact isn’t comforting enough for me to try and talk to him again.
He wants me to confess; that was why he had that disappointed look on his face. I think he'll probably forgive me if I do what he wants, and we will likely return to our daily routine of endless bickering.
