Ever since that day at the party house, Abbott has been less hostile towards me. Although she admits she still likes Jacob— honestly quite like her being so honest and cool about it though. But at least, she is not that aggressive anymore compared to Hatchett. That woman always tried to stick to Jacob whenever they had a meeting. My mate even purposely changed seats, even though their original places were according to their positions. I trust him with everything that I am though, but not that damned Hatchett! Certainly not that chit.
‘Baby, wake up. You okay?’ I yawned when I heard him trying to mind-link me. He must have heard the rumors by now. I could only hope he would refrain from causing troubles because Jacob and especially Luke can be so possessive and protective. On
