Sophia’s POV
We wolfed out yet again once we regained our strength. En route to Blood Moon, it was a peaceful and relaxing run. Jacob’s parents, Beta Trent and Gamma Rex, were waiting at the gates for us. Aunt Mia immediately hugged me the moment we arrived.
Beta Trent and Gamma Rex placed their right fist on their shoulders, left hand at the back, and bowed down to us. “Welcome back, Alpha, Luna.”
It felt strange, but felt good at the same time. We aren’t officially inaugurated yet, but they still paid their respects. Well, back when their young master rejected me, they still called me a young mistress. Both Jacob and I nodded, and they let us pass.
“You’ve been through so much pain, dearest,” Aunt Mia sadly stated.
