"Pia, just.. tap out, okay? You can just make up for the lost grades later," Lia asked as me and Dexter circled each other.
"No," I stubbornly said. "I refuse to back down without a fight."
"But it's Yarrow! He's mad at us! At me!" She whimpered.
"Hey, calm down, Lia. You got me. He's the one being unreasonable!"
I comforted my wolf, who is still anxious about fighting the man she rejected last year. On the last day of school. The only thing was that at least I was decent enough to reject him in private! Geez, lucky of him right?!
Lia was scared to go to school this year. She was afraid of the gossip that we had rejected someone. But Carter dropped a bomb in front of everybody. The attention of the whole school shifted to us. I don't know if I would be pleased or pissed
