When the door had gotten closed right in front Brandon, George knew he was done for. This was all on him, it was his fault things had gone down like this.
Why had he been stubborn when Brandon had woken him up earlier?
Then he even stopped the car along the way to celebrate his maybe.
It was meant to be fun, to loosen up Brandon's tense feelings and it had worked for a while but now everything was falling apart. His actions though born from the best intentions made him appear really selfish.
