A knock was heard on the door, and we broke out of our trance. “Come in,” Christian ordered, before Julia came in, supporting a tray in her hands.
“Here you go,” I looked at the scrumptious food that was placed on the side table and my lungs instantly filled with the mouth-watering aroma, making me feel hungry all over again. “I thought you both would be hungry, especially since you've been skipping meals since yesterday,” she gave a pointed look to Christian which made me frown.
