Chapter 25: Warning Justin
Naomi gave me a big hug, looking even more excited than I felt.
"I start work tomorrow, so tonight's on me. I'm taking you out for a nice dinner!"
Now that I was finally about to join Mega Advertising, I felt generous. Naomi had taken me in and supported me, so it was only fair to thank her with a little celebration.
"Let's go. I'll pick the place," she said, already whipping out her phone.
"And bring your boyfriend," I added. "You've been hiding him for long enough. Time for me to meet him."
Naomi laughed and agreed immediately. She called him right there, making plans without hesitation. We got dressed, hailed a cab, and headed to the restaurant she booked.
We arrived a little early and waited for almost half an hour before her boyfriend showed up.
