Chapter 58: Deciding to Date
"Serena Cole, are you going or not? If you don't, I'm ending our friendship."
After all my pleading fell flat, Naomi turned to threats. I sighed in defeat. There was no winning against her. Even if I knew she didn't mean it, I still gave in.
"Fine, I'll go. Happy now?"
I got dressed with zero enthusiasm. A few days ago, I might have taken the time to do my makeup and pick the perfect outfit. Now, I didn't even care. I already knew the date would go nowhere, so I wasn't going to waste the effort.
