When I saw buildings and people, I can't stop myself but feel excited and take a look around the scene like a crazy woman.
This is amazing!
I never saw people wore different clothes, but all women with a long skirt which looks good on them. This is awesome!!
I guess this is the city!

Even though they still haven't skyscrapers but this is so cool.
At least I saw civilization and no more desert.
"Lehermu akan patah jika kau nengok-nengok terus (You'll break your neck if you keep looking around like that)" I turn my head toward Alaric who speaks and see an un-amused expression forming on his face.
What did I do now?
We keep staring at each other, more like he glaring at me before he had enough and turn around while I start looking around for a second time.
Until I feel a hand on my head and forcefully stop from turning around which told me that this is what he said before, that I shouldn't look around.
Ugh... Gone then my happy time.

With a pouting mouth, I cross my arms and try to sit still beside him until we stopped in front of the building where he jumps out from the carriage and raises his hand to help me.
It takes me a second to understand that his hand waiting for me to grab it so he could help me since my feet still hurting.
How come I could angry longer when he cares about me like this?
I sigh and grab his hand before he carries me lightly to walk inside the building.
He put me on the chair inside before I saw him talk with a woman who I guess a receptionist.
She looks mesmerized by him with a flirt smile before pointing to a room behind him.
I try to not look angry after seeing him with another woman because it will be ridiculous to have a feeling like that, he's no one and he could do whatever he wants with others.
A moment later, I saw a man walk which I guess is like a doctor.
He examines my feet before change the bandage and gives him something.
It only takes 10 minutes before we go back to the carriage.
"Now what?" I said while studying him since I don't know what is his plan after this.
I don't know if I could go with him or not since I know no one beside him but being with a man in the wild isn't a good idea.
Oh God, what should I do?
"Kita akan menemui Naina, kuharap dia bisa membantumu tinggal didunia ini karena aku tidak bisa membawamu kedalam petualanganku (We will find Naina after this, I hope she could help you stay in this world since I can't take you with me or into my adventure)" He said while looking at me in serious demeanor.

I try to make him speak but it was useless, he keeps driving the carriage without a glance toward me and I'm tired of being ignored so I just take the scene around me more calmly, without turning my head like a lunatic.
My heart clenches in fear thinking about what will happen to me next because I don't know what to do.
It's going to be hard for me to live alone here especially when I can't speak their language, Oh God, I know I will be dead the moment he leaves me alone in this strange world.

I feel myself fly only to realize that there are huge claws on my body, grab me from the carriage.

For the first time, I saw an expression on Alaric's face.
He looks worried.
I look up only to get shocked when I see a giant bird holding me tight with his huge claws.
Oh my God, WHAT IS THIS??!!!!
HOW COME A GIANT BIRD LIKE THIS EXIST IN THIS WORLD??!!!!
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... ALARIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCC....!!!!!!" I scream in panic and try to let myself go, but the grip is too tight and I am scared with how big the claws on it.
First giant leech, now BIRD?!

"She's going to be okay, the worse has gone"
I can't say how glad I am when hear the healer's words coming from his mouth about Kiera.
I don't know why but my beast already stops whining about draining her and now he acts strangely whenever he hears her in pain.

I try to ask but he keeps silent and didn't explain anything.

Was my next question after I know she's going to be okay.

My eyes widened in shock when I hear him speak for the first time after this and it's a crazy idea to bring her into our problem.

I turn my gaze at the time a giant bird takes her with his claws.

She looks lost for a second before she takes a look around and widened her eyes when she realizes what is happening.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... ALARIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCC....!!!!!!" I hear her scream in panic and I try to not curse myself for my stupidity.
How come I didn't sense it coming!

Seeing her awe expression when she saw the city tells me that her world nothing like this.
Seeing her old clothes, telling me that she lives in a different area.
She looks shocked when she saw the leech before, now she looks more than shocked when she saw the giant bird.

I lock my gaze on her when she's getting far away with the bird.

So I jump from the carriage and use my vampire power, that beast let me use, and follow the smells of the bird along with Kiera's amazing blood smells.
