Weird

Layla was pissed, she had been trying to run away for more than two hours and haven’t succeeded yet, her brothers were waiting for her outside, she had to go or otherwise, they were going to break in and ruin her fun. She already broke out of her locks and the room she was in, now she only had to find Nathaniel’s room and a way to escape the house. It had been over ten minutes since she had been roaming around in the same spot, in hopes to find something, the only thing she found was portraits of what she assumed was Natasha, which was creepy in its own, she can’t even imagining someone to that extent to put their face everywhere, in different model poses, the girl wasn’t even smiling. While Layla was looking at the creepiest portrait of them, Natasha n***d portrait in the very back, she was surprised by someone holding her hand and dragging her away from there. “You shouldn’t be here, master hates it when someone comes here.” Mia said, as she pulled Layla away from that corner of the house. “Ok ok, just let me go, I have to go.” Layla asked of her nicely and expected the soft hand around her arm to let go but it didn’t, instead she held her tighter and told her she knew a way to get out of the house. “Mia, are you sure about this?” They had been walking for half an hour, to apparently nowhere, the whole house was the same for her, but Mia seemed like she knew where she was going, but she was starting to doubt that now. “Yes, I know the way out by heart, I ran away so many times but I always come back.” Mia said with a smile, proud of herself and her achievement, she wished that she could tell her brother, so he would pat her head and tell her, he’s proud of being her brother, but he wouldn’t, instead he would scold her and tell her to apologize to the master and to never do it again. “Why? Do you like it here?” Layla saw the environment around the house, it wasn’t suitable for kids or anyone really other than Nathaniel. “Not really, I just don’t want to leave my brother alone, dad said he will die from loneliness if I do and I don’t want my brother to die.” Mia said with a bit of a sad smile. Before her dad died, he always told her to take care of her brother and to keep him ‘normal’, she didn’t know what he meant, but she concluded that if she left her brother, he would die. And after, her dad died when she left to get him flowers form outside the house, she promised to never leave the house, which was a promise she broke for a few minutes every week, when she would want to breath a fresh air and pick some fruits for her brother. “You are really sweet.” Layla wanted to save the little girl from this place, but she had a guess that her and her brother wouldn’t leave it with her, a complete stranger and a hostage of their master. “I know, brother says I taste like sugar when he kisses my cheek.” Mia said with a giggle. “I am sure you do.” Layla laughed as well, a genuine smile that she hadn’t had in a long time since she came here. “Do you have a brother Lala?” Mia curiously asked. “Yes, two older brothers.” Layla said proudly with her nose high up. “Why didn’t they come to save you? Brother always says that he would find me if I am lost, didn’t yours do the same?” Mia was confused, she thought all older brothers saved their little sisters when they needed them, that’s what her brother told her and what she saw from her master. “They did and came to get me, but I told them to go back without me, I didn’t let them take me and promised that I will get out on my own.” If you didn’t think Layla was a tiny bit crazy, now you should. “Why though?” Mia asked and wondered what Layla would gain from that. “Because I want to shove a knife in your master’s stomach before I leave and my oldest brother wouldn’t let me if he is with me.” Layla said with a slightly crazed smile, that scared Mia a bit and made her want to let go of Layla’s hand, but she promised to take her out, to herself, so she won’t. “You are weird.” That was the only thing Mia said and thought she could say without being rude. “Thanks.” Layla said with a different smile, that calmed Mia a bit. “Oh that reminds me, the only way out is master’s office, where he is now, so you are lucky.” Mia said as if Layla stabbing Nathaniel, her master, was a trivial thing, that didn’t matter that much and was just about saying hey. “That’s great! Two birds with one stone.” Layla got excited and checked the knife in her back pocket, to see if it was still there, for her to use later. As they were getting closer to Nathaniel’s office, something else was getting closer to me, which was Mia’s brother; who as soon as he saw them, screamed for Mia to come to his side and leave Layla’s. He then scolded Mia for being with Layla and asked her where she was taking her, and when she was about to answer, Layla cut her off and said: “Nathaniel told her to take me to him, it’s not her fault.” “I know he wouldn’t, if you are going to leave, don’t drag her to this, his office is the one on the left.” He said and dragged Mia away with him.
