Even though Lin wanted to believe it was all a dream when he woke up, he couldn’t especially when the sibling pair looked so real, they were exactly as they were described in the book, both had bright green eyes and black hair, but their features were a bit different than each other, Lucas had thick eyebrows, small eyes and pale lips, a defined jawline and a muscular body, big biceps, and thick thighs, while Layla had thin eyebrows, big eyes, pink luscious lips, and chubby cheeks, her body was a pear shape with thin arms and thick thighs.     It was obvious to Lin that everything was real when the pain from his injuries hit again when he woke up, luckily for him, the pain didn’t last long because he was given a few painkillers from the doctors.     His stay in the hospital was a good way to start his new life, like a newborn, he got familiar with his surroundings and found out about who he was and who was the sibling pair. His name was Kin Yakut, an orphan who was abandoned as a child and picked up by Lucas and Layla’s parents, to be their older brother and take care of them, because their parents were always working and wanted someone close to their children’s age to be with them. He met Lucas and Layla when he was ten, while Lucas was 7 and Layla was 5, they quickly became friends and a family, with Kin always being there for the two of them, whenever they needed him or didn’t need him.      That was odd for Lin to know because those details were never mentioned in the book, the only thing mentioned about Kin was him being their adoptive brother and sacrificing himself for them, when he was twenty-two, before the story even started, that affected the sibling pair and made Lucas even more protective of Layla because he didn’t want to lose her as well, while it made Layla depressed, reserved and closed off until she met the ML (male lead) of course.     The one who tried to assassin the sibling pair was never discovered because the author just dropped off that plot point, when the harem girls showed up, and for that, Lin wanted to give the author the middle finger, because now, he was the one who had to find out who that person was, if he wanted to live in this world, without dying, after all, this was his favorite world, before the ending ruined it so he was going to live it in for as long as he could, wherever be it a dream or reality.     Two weeks later after he woke up, Lin was dismissed from the hospital and taken home by Layla and Lucas, to their home, who was now his home as well, they were the ones who decided that and didn’t ask him for his opinion, because based on his memories, his home wasn’t a mansion with a big garden that was his entire apartment.     At first, he thought that the siblings just wanted to take care of him personally in their home, with the help of their maids and butlers but that wasn’t’ the case, because the mansion was empty and no one was there other than them.     On the second day of his stay in the mansion, he couldn’t contain himself and had to ask why he was there and not his apartment, which Kin got after working and deciding to be independent, why was nobody in the mansion with them, and why they were treating him like a baby.     “You got injured because of us.” Layla said, as she fed him another mouthful of fruits, that she sliced for him.     “And we want to take care of you ourselves and we didn’t want anyone to bother your rest or disturb you.” Lucas added then put a straw in his mouth so he could the orange juice he prepared for him.     “But this is too much, I don’t have broken arms, I can feed myself and I can live on my own, you can visit me if you want, I don’t want to stay.” Lin or rather Kin now, didn’t like the excessive treatment he was getting, it was made him feel uncomfortable and to add to it, he needed to be alone to figure out what he was going to do from now on and know how he should behave based on Kin’s memories, he can’t do that with Lucas and Layla sticking to him 24/7.     “You don’t want to stay with us?” Layla asked with teary eyes; Lucas also looked at him like an abandoned puppy so he had to come up with an excuse right away to save himself.     “It’s not that, I just feel uncomfortable in here, it’s too big and empty.” Kin said and hoped for them to understand and let him live on his own, but that didn’t happen, of course, that didn’t happen; instead, they closed that mansion and bought a house instead, and moved in there with him.    And today, they were on their way to their new home, the moving was over, all of their stuff was in the home and they could go there, Lucas drove them to their new home, they were sitting in the car quietly, a comfortable silent surrounding them; Lin looked out of the window, he admired the novel’s world, until they passed by a billboard with the ML’s face on it, he looked at him with disgust and Lucas laughed when he saw his expression and said: “You still don’t like Leonard?”     “I hate him.” Kin said with spite in his tone.     “I think he is handsome.” Layla commented and Kin just laughed sarcastically and said: “There are better faces out there and with no surgeries at that.”     “He would be sad to know you said that, he asked me about you and Layla when we let the other day.” Lucas commented and Layla’s eyes sparkled in the thought of her crush asking about her, and while she asked Lucas what he said to him about her; Lin remembered how Layla and the ML met.     Lucas was a second-generation young master and would often help his father with business in their home country with his parents were out, on a business trip and that’s how he met the ML, a self-made billionaire, and introduced him to his little sister, the biggest mistake of his life.
