Kin walked into the house, to find empty and quiet, which made him glad that he came back before them, he needed some time alone to arrange his thoughts, and the perfect way to do that was to take a long bath and soak in warm water, to help him think better.

Before he got in the shower, he treated himself to toast with cheese and eggs, because he haven’t eaten anything all day and he was feeling hungry and he knew that it won’t go well if he entered the bathroom with nothing in his stomach.

While the water was filling the bath, he took a quick shower and cleaned himself, and when the bath was filled, he stopped the water from running down and put his leg in the water, it was a bit warmer than he wanted so he added a bit of cold water then relaxed and started thinking.

‘Since I am here, Lucas and Layla will live, but how? Layla will have cancer and they will discover in a few years, approximately four years until Layla will start experiencing pain in her head and body, I can’t do anything about it before then, I can’t just ask her to go to a hospital, or maybe I can, but I have to come up with an excuse to why I want her to get checked up, but what kind of excuse can I use?’ Kin thought about it for a couple of minutes but he couldn’t come up with anything, so he decided to leave that part of the thinking for the night and focus on Lucas next.

‘If I stop Layla from dying, Lucas will probably never die, but just to be careful, I need to make his relationship with Leonard healthy and with the harem ladies as well, talking about the harem ladies, who were they again?’ Kin tried to remember and from his memories, he found out there were seven women in Leonard’s harem other than Layla.

His childhood friend, his first love, and the person who he saved from bullying as a kid, they got separated when Jenny’s family moved away to another country when he was seven.

His high school’s lover who dated him for a bet and broke his heart, but regretted it later on, was never able to apologize to Leonard because after that incident, he moved away and they never saw each other again.

His coworker in his first job, who confessed to him and they dated for a while, until she broke up with him on a whim, which was the last straw for him and made him turn into a playboy.

His college girlfriend, who he cheated on and broke her heart, he then regretted it because she was the nicest person he ever met and apologized to her for it, and broke up with her, when she was willing to be with him after that, he abandoned her and wished her the best.

His business partner’s daughter, who developed a crush on him and stalked him for months, before he finally realized she liked him, he was going to date but then he found her creepy and didn’t, and eventually was forced to date him by her father, who demanded he dated his daughter if he wanted their business to continue.

His cousin, who liked him since they were kids and chased him around all the time, he never noticed and never considered to be a potential lover, until his aunt told him and she would also live with him at one point.

And last but definitely not least, his secretary, the person who would change the story’s genre and become his only lover, the person who was going to kill Lucas, she is obsessed with Lucas, even though at first, she was after him for his money, she eventually developed very deep feelings for him and wanted him for herself.

And technically, there is also Layla, Leonard’s friend, Lucas’s sister, who started liking him after she went to a meeting with her brother and saw Leonard, and fell for him at first sight, she convinced Lucas to introduce them and they started spending time together, and dated until Leonard got bored of her.

“I still don’t get it, why did he get bored of Layla? That was out of nowhere.” Kin shouted to himself and got up from the bath, then calmed down and got back down, only to notice how red he was, from the mirror beside him, he was also feeling hot so maybe it was time to get out of the bath.

Luckily for him, he only suffered from dizziness and nausea, nothing that serious, of course, I am being sarcastic but that is what Kin was thinking, while he laid on the bed trying to catch his breath. He had a towel around his waist, his wet hair on the pillow, and his feet on the side of the bed.

‘I am dumb.’ Kin thought to himself, he blamed himself for staying in the bath, for more than an hour, it was his fault for making the water too hot, even though he tried to adjust it, he failed miserably and now he was thirty and unable to get up to get himself a cup of water, what a great day to be alive.

A few minutes later, Kin realized that if he stayed like that, he was going to catch a cold; he got up and went to his closet, with a lot of difficulties, and picked up, his underwear, blue shorts, and a white tank top.

After he got dressed, he was tempted to go sleep but his stomach didn’t let him do that; he went to the kitchen and cooked himself a decent meal, and started thinking about what to do when Lucas and Layla got home.

Based on what happened yesterday, they weren’t a bit fan of his attempt at having a job, but he will have to convince somehow that it won’t change anything, just instead of him staying home or following them, he would be at work, maybe it would change some things but not much; they have a life too, they can’t always focus on him. (They can)

After he finished eating, he went to the living to watch TV and finish the drama, he started last week, there were only four episodes left, he had to finish today before he start working; he put the episode on screen and remembered that he had popcorn, so he got it and a coke, and sat down to enjoy his evening. (As some of us did in quarantine)

At 7 pm, the door was opened and two people walked into the house, Lucas and Layla, who were both tired and ready to see Kin, to make their day better; but instead of seeing him, in his phone on the couch, like usual, he was crying and blowing his nose with a tissue, while he was clutching a pillow with red eyes.

They rushed to him and asked what was wrong, they assumed he failed his job interview and they were happy about it, but they couldn’t show that to him, while he was in that state, so they comforted him and said that he can do so much more.

He confusedly stared at them and wondered what they were talking about and why they looked like parents when their kid’s favorite, annoying toy was destroyed.

“I am crying because of the drama, the female lead had a miscarriage and the male lead’s mother is blaming her for it and torturing her mentally while the male lead is away on a business trip, isn’t that just horrible?”

“Yeah…… it is.” Layla said with a disappointed tone and sat down, to watch down the drama with him, to see what would happen to the female lead.

“So this is what we are doing now?” Lucas asked when he saw that the two were focused on the TV, they didn’t respond, so he sat beside Kin, and watched the drama with them, even though it was the last episode and he didn’t understand anything that was going on, he just wanted to feel included.
