Ditching The Date For Him

1315 Words
Kin was taking a lunch break and with plot convenience magic, or a 'coincidence' as some many say, he walked in the same place where Leonard was and when he saw him, he was tempted to pretend not to know him, but then he looked at him and if he doesn't go say hey at the very least, things would awkward in the future, he had experience in that department. So, he walked up to him and his date, and said hey, and tried to start a small conversation in the worst way possible. “You look handsome.” Kin said, trying to ease the tension, which didn't exist but he made it exist because even though, Leonard did look good in the outfit he was wearing, it was rather refreshing actually for the eye since he only saw him in suits before; the casual look suited him more and made him look his age, but it was the wrong move to say that with a girl right beside him. “Thank you, I did my best to look good for her, only the best for the best." Leonard said and winked at the girl, who was a bit charmed by his words and blushed slightly; Kin wasn't though and he even gagged a bit because of what he said. "Did you just gag?" Leonard asked, extremely offended at how Kin didn't appreciate his flirting skills.   "Sorry, it's just, I am sorry, I will leave you two to enjoy your date." Kin said and walked away, holding his laugher in, Leonard looked so angry and it was hilarious to see. That thing only made his mood ten times better but it soon deemed down, when he couldn't find a place to sit, except the seat in Leonard's table (again, plot convenience magic, it's a nice trick I used twice in this chapter, magical isn't it?)   When Leonard's date spotted him standing and looking for a seat, she invented him over and he slowly walked to them and sat next to Leonard, after Leonard pulled the chair for him; half an hour later, they were eating their lunch, in peaceful silence, when suddenly, Leonard looked up and saw Lucas, Lucas was coming into the cafe with someone beside him (for the third time now, plot convenience, don't say anything about, I can't help it), he looked beside him and saw Kin eating his sandwich and cursed in his head, he would be dead if Lucas saw him.   Leonard told kin to whisper something in his ear, so he did and Leonard pulled the most shocked face from his category and presented it to his date and apologized to her because they had to leave, he told her they had to go immediately because Kin forgot his meds and he needed to take them in ten minutes or else he would have a heart attack, and he didn't have a car so he needed to take him home as fast as possible, the poor girl believed him and told them it was okay, and before Kin could deny and ask what was going on; Leonard e quickly took out some money from his wallet and put it on the table, then held Kin’s hand and dragged him outside with force, while trying to hide both of their faces; Kin looked at his food, with longing and sadness, he didn’t even finish and it was so good, but he couldn’t stop Leonard from dragging him away, he knew because he tried, he wasn't that strong. He soon found out why he was dragged out, when he saw Lucas standing next to a man and staring at him, he cursed himself and ran faster, being the one to drag Leonard this time, under Lucas’s burning eyes filled with jealousy and hate, that couldn't follow them because he was with a client. "What now?" Leonard asked when they were away from the cafe and in a safe place, he couldn't go back or else he would embarrass himself in front of the girl, or worse find Lucas waiting for him.   "I am going back to work." Kin said and was about to get down from the car when Leonard locked the car and asked again, Kin tried to reason with him but Leonard kept asking the same question and stopped him from going anymore, his date was ruined because of Kin and Lucas, and he needed to make it up for him.   At one point, Kin gave up on trying to leave and just said: “Let’s go to a place of your choice.” “Then an amusement park?” “Sure.” Kin agreed because he had no other choice.    The car ride was rather quiet, only small conversations were made, that was shorter than celebrities relationships, the sound of the radio dominated the place, a few songs playing in the background, making the whole thing more awkward, the ride seemed to be extremely long and Kin was bored of looking outside of the window, and since he couldn't do anything in the car, being carsick for as long as he can remember, the same as the original Kin; he turned to look at Leonard, checking him out and seeing what's so good about this ML.   At first glance, you would think that he had an average appearance, black hair, and dark brown eyes, but it all changed when looking at his face structure, sharp jawline, defined cheeks, perfect nose sharp eyes, and beautiful eyebrows, he had no wrinkles, no pimples, flawless skin, his hair looked fluffy and made him want to touch it, and let's not start about his body, his neck, his collarbone, his shoulders, his biceps, his arm, his veiny hands gripping on the steering wheel, his muscular chest, his thighs that seemed to be able to choke someone with; he really should stop staring now, before he gets him.    'If I didn't know any better, I would have thought I am thirsting over him.' Kin laughed at himself and looked outside of the window again, not noticing Leonard looking at him from the mirror, he was confused and weirded out, why was he staring at him in that way? It made him feel weird emotions and have weird thoughts. And did Kin fall for him, he knew he had that charm, but he didn't think it would work on guys too, and Kin too at that.   What would he do if Kin did like him? He was straight or so he thought for the longest time, he never imagined himself with a guy, it never crossed his mind, even when he was asked out by guys at college, he always brushed them off, apologized to them, and told each guy that he wasn't interested, but thinking about it now, why did he say no? All that he was interested in, since the end of high school was sleeping with someone, why did it matter to him if it was a guy or a girl..........wait, of course, his parents, they always talked about how disgusting same s*x relationships were and that made him stay away from it. He wasn't with his parents anymore and he was an adult who can make his own choices, maybe he should try sleeping with a guy for a change and see how it goes.  They reached a parking lot and Leonard told him they were going to walk from there, so he got out and thought about running away, but remembered that he had no idea where he was and his phone had no internet connection, and with that, he let Leonard lead the way this time, walking behind him and looking behind him to make sure that Lucas wasn't behind them by any chance, he wasn't there; he sighed and followed Leonard calmly to the said amusement park.
