A Dream About The Truth

  If Kin would have been told that he would go to an amusement park, he wouldn't have worn a suit and his favorite one at that, it was all ruined after the waterfall ride that Leonard forced him to go to, he was soaked and it was disgusting to walk around with wet socks, so after that ride, Kin demanded to be taken home and Leonard was able to convince him home after they get popcorn and cotton candy.

  "I am starting to dislike you." Kin said as he ate the popcorn, which was extremely good and worth it, but having wet socks wasn't; so he took his shoes and socks off, got a tissue from Leonard and dried his feet, and put his legs up in his lap, with the popcorn between his legs.

  "You got quite comfortable, in the car of someone you dislike." Leonard said and stole some popcorn from Kin because he finished his before he got in the car, he immediately regretted doing that because his fingers got oily and when he would touch the steering wheel, it will get dirty. 

  "Stupid." Kin commented when he saw Leonard's frantic try at cleaning his fingers. 

  "Excuse me, it's not my fault, it's so tempting, it was asking me to eat it." Leonard said and looked at the popcorn, the same popcorn that was tempting him again to eat it, it was just so delicious, he should have paid the guy who made it to come to his house and make it for him, why didn't he think of this before?

  "Yeah, the popcorn grew a mouth and begged, Leo darling, please eat me, I want, no I need you to eat me, that's the only thing that will satisfy me at this moment." Kin said in a sexy voice, he attempted to have and even succeded in tempting Leonard as well, no even better than the popcorn to eat him. "That's what the popcorn said, why are you looking me at that? What did I say?"

  "Is this test? I said I will try but I didn't mean on the same day, I need to prepare myself mentally." Leonard looked at the sky and wondered why the world was throwing him in this kind of situation; Kin who didn't understand what was going shrugged and finished his popcorn and yawned, and put his head back to take a nap until he got home.

   When Kin got home, he changed his clothes, quickly got dinner then went to bed, Layla asked Kin to sleep next to her and cuddle that night, wait why was she there? Wasn't she on a school trip? Oh well, he also wanted to cuddle so he agreed, but an hour after they got to bed, Layla asked him; “Didn’t you want to tell me something this morning?” She suddenly said, looking up at him and waiting for an answer from him.

  'I did? What did I want to say.' Kin thought about it for a second and suddenly words started coming out of his mouth, that he didn't understand why he was saying. “Yes......I.....I am....” To say Kin was nervous would be an understatement, he was terrified of what would Layla think when she finds out, would she hate hun and ask him to leave? Or would she accept it and let it go? There was only one way to find out, telling her. 'Why am I having this kind of thoughts, what was going on?'

“If you are not comfortable enough to tell me, don’t, I will always be here to listen.” Layla held his hands tightly and reassured him with a smile that she was willing to hear what he had to say anytime he could, which made him more determined to tell her the truth.

“Thank you, but I have to, I can’t keep hiding it forever.” Lin took a deep breath and closed his eyes, he got up and sat down, hoping that Layla would take it nice and not hate him. He opened his eyes again and said: “I am not Kin, Kin’s soul left his body when he got stabbed and because he didn’t want to leave you alone, he asked me to come here and protect you and Lucas in his place, I know it’s hard to believe this but I am saying the truth.”

  'Oh, I get it now, it's a dream, I would never say that, not until I die.' Kin made that decision, the second he woke up because he wasn't willing to face the questions the siblings would ask him or the consequences that would have on their relationship and even the original Kin to keep it a secret that he was a different soul. 

  Anyway, back to the dream he was having for some reason.

“I know,” Layla said before Kin could give any more explanations, surprising him with how calm she was, seemingly understanding what he was saying and not weirded out like he expected her to be. 

“How?”

“Because it happened to me as well and I already met Kin before he died. I never told you this but since you brought it up, I will tell you about it; when Kin was in the hospital, I had a dream, a dream about my life, the memories of a life I never had and after the memories were over, Kin came to me and told me that’s what my life will be like if I continue loving Leonard and he also told me that he can’t be with me anymore and would send someone else to do so, I woke up the next day and only thought of it as a dream at first but when the things from the dream kept happening in reality, I was scared but I accepted that I saw my future and I am trying to change it so we can all have a better life, but I don't know how yet.” 

  Kin wanted to give her advice on how to make it better, so maybe that would be a reality if she maybe had the same dream, but the words weren't coming from his mouth, he was only able to say: “So, you don’t hate me?”

“Of course, I don’t, how can I hate a cute older brother like you?”

“Thank goodness, I was really scared.” Kin was finally able to breathe, he relaxed and laid down on the bed.

“What is your real name by the way?”

“Lin, it’s not that different from Kin.”

“I will call you Lin from now on, or LiLi or Li, which one do you prefer?”

“Whatever you like.” Kin said and with that, the dreaming Kin thought the dream would come to an end, but it didn't, it went on.

“Then I will call you LiLi, so LiLi what happened to you before? I mean when you came to take the car keys.”

 Knowing that he can’t hide anything from Layla, for longer than two days, he decided to just tell her everything and let himself be comforted by her because he needed it, he needed someone to tell him that everything was alright and that he did nothing wrong when he attacked Leno, he doesn’t want to feel guilty for protecting himself and his dignity, and he shouldn’t, as Layla told her and praised him for doing what he did because a man like that only deserved a punch in the face and the crouch, too bad he couldn’t do it.

  'Wtf is happening? Who is Leno and what happened to me or this body I guess?' The dreaming Kin was confused but he continued to listen to 'his' thoughts and the conversation.

Layla hugged Lin and reassured them that he did the right thing, he did nothing wrong and should have done more to that man, not just punch his face, she also told him that he was fine and that nothing changed about him, a creepy man looking at him should only be a reminder that guys can be real assholes and that he should be careful around them, so with that thought in mind.

After Kin fell asleep, Layla left the bed and picked up her phone, calling someone by the name of ‘Lu’, it must be Lucas, Kin thought when he saw what Layla was doing, who responded almost immediately with a worried voice and asked if something was wrong. 

“Not that good, someone sexually harassed Kin and we need to find him.” Layla said, leaning on the wall and coldly looking into the distance, her sweet innocent self, she appeared to have in front of Kin a moment ago, disappeared with the wind

“On it, what is his name?” Lu dropped everything and immediately pulled a sticky from his drawer, to get the name, to find the man who diD such a heinous thing to his older brother. 

“It’s Leno, he is a member at Healthy Perfection gym.”

“I will get all his information tomorrow.”

“Okay, let’s meet at the usual spot.” Layla hung up and went back to bed, kissing Kin softly on the head and untangling his hair with her fingers. “I will protect you, my Kin, we will happily ever after, all of us.”

  Layla moved closer to Kin and put her head close to his chest, hearing his heartbeats and soft breath; she didn’t care who it was, wherever he was Kin or Lin, both were nice to her and cared about her like a brother, and she would do the same, and this time she was going to give her brother the love life he deserved. "It would be weird to call you brother-in-law in the future but I will make it him."

  'WHAT?'

  And with that, that sentence was the last thing he heard, because right after, everything disappeared and he was woken up by Leonard and told that he was home.
