“What?” Sophie was confused for a second, on why James called her, but when she saw his look, she immediately understood what he meant. “Oh, we……... James wants to see you in cosplay or crossdressing, not my idea, it’s his.”
“Liar, you are the one who showed me outfits that would look good on him and convinced me to buy five outfits, while you bought twenty.” James said and Sophie shook her head, and denied the claims. “Really? Then how about we go to your apartment and see if we can find anything in your closet.”
“No, I actually bought some clothes for myself.” Sophie lied to protect herself, she was shy about the whole thing and her want to see her boyfriend in cosplay. They hadn’t been in a relationship for that long but James wasn’t the same, he had been with Charles…for ever, he could take the idea and make it his.
“I wonder what size they are.” James said while rolling his eyes. He knew Sophie was just embarrassed, but still, just because he had been with Charles longer, doesn’t mean he would be more comfortable with asking him to cross dress and do something he had never done before.
“Stop it, you two.” Charles said, as he put Leonard in the car and looked at the two, before he added: “Each of you can choose two outfits for me to wear and that’s it, now, let’s go home.” Charles got into the car, while the two celebrated outside and hugged each other, and jumped together; Charles chuckled at their silliness and drove away, to drop Leonard at the house, while the two went to Sophie’s apartment, to pick Charles outfits.
“And Sophie, whenever you want something, just tell me and I will think about it.” Charles said with a wink, before he drove away from her apartment.
“I love him.” Sophie said as she fell into James’s arms dramatically.
“Good for you, now get up.” James said with a slightly angry voice and walked away.
“Aww don’t tell me you got jealous?” Sophie asked and James just stopped for a second before he continue walking. Sophie giggled and run, she jumped on his back and kissed him, telling him she loved him too, very deeply.
James tried not to smile. “I know, now get off.” Sophie got off his back and held his hand tightly, and walked with him to her apartment.
Once Charles got to Leonard’s house, he put him on his back and went to the door, opened it with his keys and got in; as he walked through the hall, he spotted Jack in the kitchen with an apple in his hand.
The moment he saw him, his face brightened up and he approached him, with a huge smile and said: “Jack! It’s been so long since I saw you, you are much taller now.” Charles pinched Jack’s cheeks much to the latter’s dissatisfaction.
“I am not a kid.” Jack said and took Charles’s hand from his cheek; he didn’t like Charles, he never did, he envied how close he was to Leonard and even disliked him because of that.
“For me, you are.” Charles said and messed up Jack’s hair, then walked away; Jack followed him upstairs, to make sure he doesn’t do anything to Leonard. He didn’t, he just put him in his bed and covered him with his blanket.
“Why were you with him?” Jack asked, when they were getting downstairs.
“Because we are friends and we spend time with each other.” Charles replied with a sweet smile and tried to ruffly Jack’s hair, because it looked so soft, but Jack dodged and warned him not to touch his hair.
“Why do you always do this? You do it to Leonard too.” Jack said and styled his hair to the side, because when Charles touched him earlier, he messed up his hairstyle.
“I like your hair and his too, it’s so soft and fun to play with.” Charles replied with full honesty; he had a slight obsession with hair, not a s****l one or anything, he just like hair with a soft texture, and it seemed to be genetic for Leonard and his family. And fun fact, Charles only talked to Leonard at first, because he liked his hair and wanted to touch it.
“I don’t care, touch me again and I will report you for s****l harassment.” Jack said, as he opened the front door for Charles, who laughed and apologized, before leaving and driving away.
Jack got inside and went to his room, he had exams to study for, but he couldn’t focus on them, he kept thinking about Leonard and how to get close to him; what ways could he use to get Leonard to notice him?
Before he could know, he fell asleep on his desk until the morning, when he heard a weird noise from Leonard’s room. He lazily got up, with his half-broken neck and back, to check out what was going on.
When he entered Leonard’s room, he found him on the ground with an arrow on his bed, Leonard looked terrified, Jack was too, and he got even more scared when he noticed something being thrown through the window, it was a ball, that exploded seconds after it fell on the ground, blood spattered across the room; both of them were shocked and frozen in their place; Jack was the first to regain consciousness and got to close the window, so nothing else got in.
“WTF is going on?” Jack said after he closed the window. He looked at Leonard for any kind of explanation but he didn’t get any, because Leonard himself didn’t know what was going.
To figure out at least something, Leonard picked up the arrow and tried to see if it had anything on it; there was a piece of paper tied to it, it read:
‘Next time, the arrow will be sharper and the blood won’t be fake.’
Yours, Natasha
“Hell no.” Leonard crumbled the paper and threw it on the ground, then got up, to make a phone call.
Jack picked up the note to see what it had, only to be horrified at what it contained. Before he could react or say anything, Leonard snatched the paper from his hand, and told him to leave him alone. Jack did as he was told and left, with a heavy heart.
After he was left alone, Leonard called a maid over to his house, wore his suit, got his car keys for the nineth car he had, and left without saying anything to Jack. His first location, after he left, was the club, to pick up his car; there was no car, his car was smashed, doors, windows, the roof, the front, everything was destroyed, with one thing written on it: ‘Mine or Die.’
That was the last straw, that made go report Natasha to the police, to get a restraining order against her. He can’t deal with her and her craziness, it was getting too much; he understood that she still wasn’t over him and the way he broke up with her wasn’t right, it hadn’t been long either but that didn’t give her the right to destroy his property, harass him and threaten him, to get him back.
After he filled for the order, he started looking for a new house, to move in to, with Jack, the one they were at wasn’t safe anymore.
On that note, let’s go look at the person who started all of this mess, Kin, who was starting to realize that his plan was failing miserably and that he was carried home by Lucas, who wasn’t impressed by his choice, for his date, nor the fact that he followed them around like a stalker.
And to put salt on the injury, Lucas was not falling for Leonard, not even slightly, which meant he needed to up his game and find a way to make the two fall in love because otherwise, Lucas will keep liking him and that’s a problem.
Layla was going to be back in three days and he needed to do it before she came back, if his dream told him anything, it was that Layla wanted him to be with Lucas and he was going to believe his dream over anything because it proved itself to be a reality beforehand, why would it change now?
But how will he make them in love? He set them up on a date, didn’t work, they ended up fighting at the end, Leonard told him Lucas hated him more after that day, lock them up in a room all night? Make them make dinner together? Give them a chance to spend an entire day on their own on the beach? What else could he do and what guarantee did he have that either of those plans would work.
He had no time to lose so he started his plans fast and in a calculated way, because both Leonard and Lucas had a job, he did too so he needed to know when to execute his plans, which was at night and weekends, he only had two nights and a weekend, since Layla would be home on Sunday.
With that in mind, he got into work and invited Leonard over to ‘talk’. That wasn’t the case of course, because as soon as Leonard got to their house, Kin told him that he wanted him to get him something from upstairs, why he, a guest, was the one to go instead of Kin? That question didn’t come to Leonard’s brain when he got upstairs, and in that simple way, he got stuck with Lucas in his room, with Kin ‘out’ of the house, to get milk, as he told Lucas before he left him in the room.
“Are you stupid or did you leave your brain in your car? How could you fall for that? Now, we are stuck here for god knows how long, you are making me hate you even more than I already did.” Lucas sighed loudly and threw himself on his bed, he didn’t know Kin was going to try this much to get them together, if he knew, he would have just pushed a bit further and forced some tentions between them.
“Same, so just shut up, for the sake of both of us and our sanity.” Leonard said and sat on the ground near the door, he put his head back and wished for Kin to be back soon.
“Now what are we going to do?” Lucas asked, as if Leonard had an idea on what to do; well, he was the smart CEO, so he should know.
“Wait for him to come back and open the door for us, what else?” Leonard said and closed his eyes, to try and relax, this week had been crazy and he honestly needed to get away, and catch his breath, maybe this wasn’t the best way in doing that, but he wasn’t going to complain out loud. “I wonder why he wants us to date so badly?” Leonard wondered with closed eyes and Lucas just kept quiet, he didn’t know what to say or how to justify it.
They stayed there and ended up sleeping, without even trying to run away or call for help, which proved to Kin that they didn’t care, it didn’t make them nervous that they were stuck together, nothing sparkled between, the plan was a failure.
And as a person who have never been in love or tried to ship two people together (a/n: same), he was struggling to find other ways to make them closer to each other, the only ones he knew were the ones he saw on dramas; which he found out that, they don’t work in real life, they only exist in dramas and work under very specific settings.
With that in mind, Kin got depressed, wondering if he had no other choice but to accept that Lucas had feeling for him, couldn’t he do anything about it?
He desperately tried to think of something, while laying on his bed, (which he did more than anyone of us, or just me would want to admit) and suddenly something sparked in his brain.
Even though Kin was never in a relationships many of his friends were, so while in bed, he tried to remember each and everyone’s falling in love story, they were a group of 10 friend, five dating each other in the group and three dating outside of group and two singles, which were him and his sworn enemy in the group.
Many of their love story started with the other being attracted to the other for their face or body and pursuing them, but some who were a rare case of friends turned to lovers, would always tell him that it was one moment that made them realize they loved the other romantically, but what was that moment? He could never ask them or just was too bored and annoyed about them blabbing about their love, when he was single that he didn’t pay any attention to it.
