  Kin didn’t pick up at first and simply hang up and started playing music again but Leonard kept calling him and he had no other choice but to answer; he put the call on speaker and heard a lot of noises in the background and Leonard say: “Red or blue?”

  “What?” Kin asked, confused about what Leonard meant, the latter just told him to choose a color and he chose blue, which made Leonard sigh, and soon after the noise quieted down and he asked again what was that about.

  “If you chose red, I would have stayed in the club but you chose blue, which was to go home and just call one of my girlfriends to spend the night with.” Leonard informed him, as he walked towards his car and looked at the numbers of his girlfriends, he tried to decide which to send a message to Natasha, the last person who called him and asked him to spend time with her.

  “Why did you make me choose?” Kin asked curiously, he didn’t understand why Leonard couldn’t make that choice for himself, he was an adult and an owner of a huge business, why couldn’t he do what he wanted and had him, a stranger, who was the brother of a business partner decide for him?

  “I am bad at making personal choices, I usually call my friend Charles for choice-making but I will depend on you from now on.” Leonard wasn’t enjoying himself that much in the club, there wasn’t anyone interesting in there and nothing was happening, he was in the corner drinking, with a girl trying to flirt with him, but he didn’t want to leave because maybe he would regret it later, and when he usually had that kind of feeling, he would always call his close friend to make him choose of two colors and decide for him, but this time, Charles wasn’t answering and that was when he received Kin’s message and decided to ask him instead.

  “Please don’t and if that’s it, I am hanging up.”

  “No, no wait, I also want to ask if you are serious about not taking the job as my secretary.”

  “Yes, I would prefer a job that doesn’t involve seeing you every day.” Kin was completely honest with Leonard, which broke his heart just a tiny bit but he got it, not everyone had great taste and vision.

  “I see, then I will interview you tomorrow and see what you are capable of, to put you in a suitable position.” Leonard was planning on putting in the position of his secretary because it was an easy job in his opinion and that would be good in Lucas’s eyes but since Kin doesn’t want, he would do it the hard way.

  “Thank you.” Kin was genuinely thankful for Leonard because he was bored as heck in the house and he needed to do something and because he doesn’t want to study and go through exams, he had enough of those in his world, he would just use his or rather Lucas’s connection to score himself a job and do something with this life, rather than just sit around and wait for the sibling pair to get home, even though, that was exactly what he came here for.

  He doesn’t want to waste the second life he got just doing nothing and spending his days staring at walls; he would apologize to the original Kin once he saw him, for not doing what he was here and having another goal but for now, he would do what he wanted, along with doing what he was here for.

  Plus, Lucas and Layla didn’t need someone to take care of them, because they were taking of him instead, while also living their lives and he would do the same from now on, well from tomorrow.

  “I will send you the address tomorrow morning, come there at around 9 or 10 am.” Leonard said and looked at the window, to see if his girlfriend arrived, he was at her place and waiting for her to pick her up.

  “Okay, I will be there.” Kin said with delight.

  “Bye then, my girlfriend is here.” Leonard said with a smile, that Kin could hear through the phone, he looked at his stunning girlfriend with dreamy eyes and opened the door for her, while Kin gagged from the other side of the phone, bid him goodbye and hang up.

  “Maybe I should get a girlfriend while I am here.” Kin said out loud, he felt a bit jealous of Leonard, okay, not a bit, he was jealous of him, he also wanted someone to be with him, love him, kiss him, be there for him in everything, that sounded nice.

  Back in his world, he couldn’t have one, because he always focused on his studies, himself or his friends, the thought of having a girlfriend had always been intimidating for him, he was shy and awkward around girls, but he had one female friend that was lesbian and tried to give him tips on how to approach girls but it never worked, but maybe with a different face, different background, and different environment, he could use her tips and get himself a girlfriend while he was here.

  While Kin was busy thinking about the possibility of having a girlfriend, he didn’t hear a backpack and a suitcase drop on the ground, he didn’t see two shocked faces who were staring at him and almost teared up when he did notice them, they were standing at the door, like two pitiful puppies who were abandoned by their owner.

  “You are going to leave us?” Layla asked, her tears threatened to fall which scared Kin and got him worried about what happened to her.

  “Huh, what are you talking about?” Kin asked, he walked to her and stood in front of her, he wiped the tear that fell from her left eye and asked what was wrong, he then turned to look at Lucas to see that his expression was perhaps worse than Layla, so he put his hand on his face and asked again was wrong.

  They didn’t answer and hugged him tightly, he hugged them back and told them that everything was okay, that was when they both said at the same: “You can’t have a girlfriend, you are ours!”

  When they said that, Kin just had one thought: ‘s**t, I am stuck with two brocons, oh well.’ He couldn’t do anything about it and just kept on hugging them and apologized to Kin to think that he was the only obsessed one, for agreeing to work, basically as a slave, to have someone protect his younger siblings the whole squad had a complex.
