Conditions To Meet Another Man

  Kin was ready for Lucas’s anger to be launched at him but that didn’t occur, Lucas told him to get in the car and let him drive him to Leonard, he agreed with a slight fear for what might happen to him or Leonard, from Lucas’s expression but maybe he was overthinking, because Lucas didn’t say anything the entire car ride, to Leonard’s house and simply played Kin’s favorite songs.

  But once they reached the house, Lucas turned to him and started giving him the ten commandments, one, don’t trust him, two, sit away from Leonard and keep your distance, three, refuse if he asked him to go to a club with him, four, don’t agree to anything or sign anything, five, don’t eat or drink anything from him, six, don’t go to his bedroom, seven, to text him if he tried anything, eight, not to stare at him, nine, to call him if Leonard said anything weird, ten, to be out of the house at 11 pm, because Lucas would be out waiting for him.

  “Why? Am I going to a criminal without my knowledge?” Kin asked curiously, he wondered if Lucas knew something he didn’t, based on what he asked him to do, it was a bit..no it was outrageous, he felt as he was entering prison and Lucas was the guard warning him about a killer inside.

  “No, I just don’t trust him around you, let’s go.” Lucas exited the car and Kin followed, he didn’t have anything to do in the car and was ready to start the investigation. After he got out, Lucas approached and held his hand, tightly if he might add, why, who knew.

  He didn’t do anything about it, afraid that he might cause an awkward situation, plus he didn’t care much, they were just holding hands, nothing big; or at least that was what he thought before Leonard opened the front door and stared at their intertwined hands for a solid ten seconds.

  “Nice.” Leonard said with a big smirk, which was soon wiped out when Lucas let go of Kin’s hand and grabbed Leonard’s ear, and pulled him away, while he told Kin to get inside and find a place to settle down, which he did after he stared at the two for a minute and wondered what kind of a relationship they had, it seemed they were closer than what the book described them to be.

“Ow ow and OW.” Leonard screamed until Lucas let go of his poor red ear, he massaged it and looked at Lucas, as if he was getting bullied.

Lucas stared at him with a bored look and asked: “What are you trying to do?” It was obvious to the two of them what exactly was going on, but beating around the bush was the favorite activity for smart AND rich people. (not that I would know, it's just a guess based on what I watch)

“What do you mean?” Leonard asked back with an innocent look on his face as if he had no idea what Lucas was hinting at.

 “Don’t act stupid with me, Leo, I know you well enough to realize you are not interested in Kin out of nowhere.” Lucas said, he knew Leonard long enough to know, the successful billionaire doesn’t show interest in someone unless he would gain something from that person; he was that kind of person based on the world he endorsed himself in, that was the way of their work and he respected that until it came to Kin.

Leonard still wasn’t admitting to anything, because he had no point in doing so, things were going to be more fun this way. “I just want to be friends with him, he seems like a nice guy.” He said with a smile, which only irritated Leonard even more. 

“I don’t know what you said to him but if you try to do anything to him, I will rip your head off your body and disturb your body parts to your girlfriends, you better be careful.” Lucas threatened with the craziest eyes Leonard have ever seen in his whole life, it made him shiver for a second but he didn’t show anything on his face. 

He acted as if that didn’t affect him at all and said: “Geez, so aggressive, calm down lil bro, I won’t do anything to your dear older brother.” Leonard tried to hold back his smirk and succeeded, he couldn’t show Lucas he became even more interested in Kin, after what he told him, otherwise he would definitely do what he said.

“You better, now go, don’t make him wait, also I am coming to your office tomorrow at 9 am, be there.” Lucas said and walked away, without even hearing a response from him, so Leonard shouted out for him, with delight. 

“Yes, big boss.” Leonard was happy to hear the news, it was a good idea to come in contact with Kin, it was the perfect solution, why didn’t he think of it earlier? 

It didn’t matter now, he had to focus on Kin and how to use him to his advantage, after all, if he got Lucas to work with him, it would be like winning the lottery, his work hours would be cut in half and he would have more time to spend with his girlfriends. 

With a hum, Leonard walked to his house with a cheerful stride, he couldn’t wait to start living a more carefree life, but for now, he should go talk to Kin and discuss what he found out about the attempted murder with him.

He walked in, to find Kin in the living room, his back on the couch, while his legs were on the wall, as he counted the squares in his roof, he approached him and surprised him with his sudden appearance, on top of him, their faces a bit closer than Kin liked, which made him immediately get up and fix his posture. 

“Sorry.” Kin looked down with blushed cheeks, what was he doing?!? He had to go and embarrass himself in front of Leonard, didn’t he? He got too comfortable on the couch, it was just so big and soft, he couldn’t help himself. 

  In contrast to what he thought, Leonard didn't think of him as stupid for it, it made him think of the old days and smile, he was reminded of his first day in his mansion when it was all new to him and he felt like a stranger in his own house, he disliked everything in the house but strangely enough, he liked the couch, it was comfy and he liked sleeping on it and slept on it in the first month of his stay in the house; those were sealed memories, he never thought he would ever think of, guess Kin was able to bring those back, maybe he should take his attempt to befriend him more seriously.

“Don’t worry about it, make yourself comfortable, again. I will go get us some water and don’t worry I won’t put anything in it, I will bring sealed bottles and newly bought washed glasses, we are going to do a lot of talking so we are going to need it.” Leonard knew Lucas must have said something to Kin, he didn’t know what exactly was but he knew that he told him not to trust him, that must have been the first thing he said to him before they left the car and he was correct. 

After he went through explaining all of that, he felt a slight obligation to trust him and believe his words, plus, before he left to get said the bottle of water and the glasses, he offered him to follow him, to see everything with his own eyes and judge; when he saw all of that, Kin decided to trust him, this time, Lucas was being overly conscious and it would be fine to drink water, what harm would it bring? It’s just water, it would be fine, right?
