Asher’s P.o.v.
I pulled away from Harper’s and headed toward the villa Dom had given me. When I got there, I seen his Impala still parked outside. I park next to it, climb out of the car, and head inside. Just beyond the door, I noticed cat essentials - food, litter, a food bowl, a water bowl - all neatly set out. On top of the cat food bag sits a folded note.
It reads:
Asher,
I thought Salem would need a few things. The litter box is in the back storage room on the first floor.
Dom
I can’t help but smile as I pick up the food and water bowls. Carrying them into the kitchen, I filled the water bowl and set it down near the island. Then I drag the heavy food bag in, tear it open, and scoop a cupful into the food bowl before placing it down.
Salem trots into the room, chirping happily
