Chapter Five

Emma’s POV

When Zack was showing us around I couldn’t help but wonder how luxurious this boarding house is. I can’t shake the feeling that not everything is it looks like, I feel like I am missing something. As we were walking towards the offices we passed a corridor with wolves portraits along the sides, those wolves were soo huge, but there was something about their eyes. I wonder why do they have wolf portraits. May be I will ask Zack later if I get a chance.

Once we got to the 5th floor We met this gorgeous girl with blonde hair and green eyes, the way she was smiling at Zack made me feel a little jealous. “Hey Zack, won’t you introduce me to your friends?” She asked Zack with a dazzling smile “this is Emma , Emily and Betty; and this is my sister Tanya” Phew , I was getting ready to rip that smile of her face “Hii” “Hii” “so where are you taking them?” “To show them their room” “oh! I can do that, I am sure you have more important things to do” “no, I don’t mind” “don’t be like that big brother, I won’t bite”

“Fine”

As the two of them were bickering I couldn’t help but think of how much I missed having a sibling. My parents adopted me when I was a little over 3 as they couldn’t have children of their own. It was good to get all the attention and love but as I grew up all the expectations fell on me too. My mom being a Partner at a Law Firm and Dad being a successful businessman, they both wanted me to take over from them and so the extra studies and pressure was always there, I was almost lost in my thoughts when Zack said “the carnival starts at about 4 , we can all go together , meet us in that living room there, its the one with all the gadgets” Boys and their toys I thought to myself.

As Zack heads off Tanya shows us to out room. I can’t help but feel disappointed that Zack had to go. I will see him soon enough I tell my self and then I think I seriously need to get a grin, I have known that man for less than a day and all I can think about is how much I want to talk to him , be with him , sleep with him uh oh don’t go down that road. Suddenly I realised all 3 girls were looking at me , I was so lost in my thoughts that I totally missed what they were asking me. “Urm sorry , what was that?” “I said this one is yours” Tanya said pointing towards the door in front of us , “that is my brothers when he stays here” pointing to the door opposite mine, “that’s Liams and mine, Andy and Sam” pointing to the door next to Zacks and the ones after that “you two can take the rooms to the right and left from her” she walked into my room when she finished talking.

The room had a King size bed, a couch with coffee table , huge walk in wardrobe and an ensuite. All the furniture was either wood or leather or glass. The bedsheet and quilt had a leafy print , and so did the pillows on the couch. The curtain were plain white and there were either potted plants or flower vase around the room. It had a very fresh cozy look. It felt like I this room was designed specially for me.

“It’s a beautiful room” I told Tanya “thanks, glad you liked it” she had a very cheeky smile, it was like she knew something I didn’t but I could still trust her. It was very weird for me as I didn’t easily trust people. “Anyway I have to be on my way, I will see you all at the Carnival, meanwhile if you girls need anything just ask the first person you see to call me ok?” She left as soon as she said this. Emily and Betty went to their room for a rest, I closed the door and went to bed too.
