Raven's POV
Rave ran like a bullet before bringing us to a stop behind a tree panting.
'What are we going to do now? Roy is definitely in pursuit. You need to hide our scent,' I said as fear gripped my heart at being found out so soon.
'I can't hide our scent in wolf form. I will shift back now and hide our scent. You have to try your best and get us inside as soon as possible,' Rave said.
Rave didn't give me room for argument as she shifted back. I shivered from the night cold air. I was naked and scared witless.
Seeing that I had no other option, I quickly braced up and started running back to the house. I stopped when I heard a sound like a foot on a dried leaf. I hid behind a tree knowing I was safe as my scent couldn't be picked in the air.
The sound I heard was just a rabbit
