I made it to my room and smiled triumphantly. Bella had said the only thing that would give the twins a wake up call was if they felt threatened. I had not expected Roy to show up. In fact, I had wanted Roman to show up. His anger the previous day was baseless. They were as guilty as I was about concealing the truth. I removed my slippers and lay on the bed. My stomach rumbled and I nearly regretted not eating my food while I waited for one of them to come into the kitchen to complain that I was not eating with them on the dining table.
