The sun passes straight above us and comes now from the valley side. Eventually we all get careless. It starts when Bull throws Peacock in the water, then Chickenfeed shoves Bull in. Although we never let our guard down completely we begin to have some fun. Prophet discovers a pool downstream that is not covered by canopy, so the sun shines on it. Sometimes there are four guys in and the others are far from ready for combat. However, we all chamber a round and leave our rifles close by. The pool offers a little protection of its own because it is surrounded on every side but downstream by boulders.
