Will, looking dangerously disturbed, crossed the field with the rifle. The depression in the grass where Hob"s Pond once lay showed up clearly in the moonlight. He reached the fringe of bushes that surrounded the depression and lay down in the grass with the rifle to wait. "Right, you monster!" he growled through clenched teeth, "you won"t get away from me now! You won"t ever get near my son again!"
