Chapter 6

Kiera's POV

Next morning I wake up in my new bed. A small cute cozy room. Queen bed and a huge bay window. Soft pink wall paper lined the walls. My sheets are grey with pink clouds on it. I lay there for a bit smelling the breakfast already doen downstairs. Today I literally am waking up in a new life. I found my mate even though I've been hurt before. He has nothing to do with that and deserves a chance.

Aurora: Of course he does and he's not tainted. He's only loved Aunt Ren, so we can grow together.

Me: True that so we should be gentle with him.

Aurora: Yes Aunt Ren smells off. So I asked her wolf and she said she's meeting the moon goddess soon.

I sat up immediately in bed. I did smell it in her yesterday, it's sort of like decay. Something isn't allowing her to heal properly.

Aurora: Aunt Ren was hit by witch curse the day our mates mother passed away. Small shard like silver in bedded into her. She will succumb to this very soon.

I began to cry thinking of Aunt Ren in pain. I just got her back and will lose her again. We decided to enjoy her while we still have her. I make my bed, shower,brush my teeth get ready and head down for breakfast.

Upon opening my door I seen on the the floor there was a note. ( Last night I hope I didn't scare you. I will do my best to always respect your boundaries). Johnson is so sweet and old school with the note.

Downstairs in the kitchen I can hear Aunt Ren and Johnson doing there morning routine. I walk in and Aunt Ren immediately hands me a plate. " Morning sweetie eat up I think Johnson should show you the land and the very sweet garden you made for me" she winks at Johnson.

Aunt Ren goes on and on about the garden I eat my food I decided not to hold back anymore as I met Johnson eyes. My body shivered and I tried to hide my smile. He lit up at this and I decided to sit next to him. Immediately I can feel the sparks as our arms touched while we eat.

“After we eat we can go walk the grounds and later on tonight we can let our wolves out.” I nodded in agreement. Aurora certainly wanted to meet king.
