Chapter 11

Kiera’s POV

Aurora: Be strong girl for our mate and for us.

I felt Aurora recede back into my mind and then I could hear her whimpering mourning the soon to be loss of Aunt Ren. I grab my phone and call home. On the fire ring dad answered.

“Dad” I said before he had a chance to speak” Aunt Ren is going to sacrifice herself so my mate and I can escape. Johnson’s powers are not at full capacity yet so she said this was her only choice.” And the began to weep.

Fred’s POV

Fred the alpha was still in shock of the news his sister will sacrifice herself. The fact my daughter found her mate and they are fleeing for their lives. I snap out of it quickly.

“Your pack is here for you daughter” as I said that we heard an explosion in the back ground. “Kiera!” I scream.

“Dad” I heard my daughter and breathed a sigh of relief. “Aunt Ren is gone” I knew it before she finished her sentence. An hour and a half later the pack felt Kiera and her mate enter into the pack grounds. My strongest warriors guides their jeep into our safe path and fastest way to me.

I stood in front of the main pack house holding my mates hand. Luna Dori. She was clutching her hands at her chest. Karly and Kevin were the only ones up this late. Katarina the youngest was still asleep probably because she was up studying so late.

I see the beep hauling ass towards us and comes to stoop but nearly hit all of us. They must have been so scared to be driving this way.

I mind-link my pack to take it easy with the young gentlemen. He has only had my sis his entire life so we may overwhelm him. Of course my kids didn’t listen and attack Kiera. She pulls away quickly and looks to her mate.

Kiera’s POV

“Johnson please come here. We are safe now” I give him a half smile and he slowly exits the keep and walks to me. I can feel his sadness and fear of my pack.

“Mom, Dad this is my mate Johnson. When he is ready he will join our pack. And we are also ready to prepare to be the next alpha and Luna.” I say with confidence. I had a lot of time to think on the way over here. Seems my destiny includes my mate and this pack. Well me running this pack now.

My fathers jaw dropped. My mother has the look of proudness in her. My mother mind-linked me saying “Finally!”

My father was pushed by his arm my mother was not liking his quietness.

“Well Fred say something g to your daughter. She’s giving you what been begging her to do.” Luna Dori yelled at Fred.

“Nice to meet Johnson. I know this isn’t normally how it’s done but welcome to our pack. Your now family and I would like to get to know you better. If possible in the morning we can meet in my office so I may just get to know you and begin letting you see the alpha process. “

Johnson finally looks up “Yes sir I will be there what time is better for you.”

“After breakfast will be ok so you can be settled and in a better mood hopefully”

Johnson looked at me confused when I chuckled.” My dad sometimes doesn’t realize when he’s nervous he may say things that don’t make sense.”

Johan’s half smiled nodded his head and then went to grab our bags and whatever we had time to pack. He was helping the packs beta Arnold and the gamma Joe with the bags and suitcases.

I leaned against my father as I realized how tired I am. “Sweety your 3rd floor is ready for you” my father said with glee” We put what was left from your into that floor. And your stuff from the Jeep will also be taken up there. It’s fully furnished for you since I’ve been meaning to give it to you when you decided to take over the pack.”

Karly wrapped her right arm” Do you remember we always tried to sneak up the third floor. All you had to do was agree to be pack leader lol”

My sister was right as children the third floor button was blocked and wasn’t even accessible from the elevator. Father always said I was taking over the pack and he didn’t care if I had an alpha or not. So I guess he finally did get what he wanted.
