I was more than relieved to have some alone time with Decker. We had much to talk about, even more so with all the sudden changes that had taken place. I didn't mind Jena talking to me about what to expect as the mate of a beta. It had allowed Robin and I to become even closer friends. Admittedly it was weird between Robin and Jena but a quick joke to ease the tension usually helped.
