( Decker ) We were standing around the construction site while Seff talked to the contractor about something that had gone wrong. The apartment building was coming along rather nicely but apparently, someone had forgotten about a window or door or something. I couldn’t concentrate on the matter at hand as that same gut retching feeling plagued me. Something wasn’t right. I could feel it. Kayley hadn’t necessarily been avoiding me, but she may as well have been. I haven’t really seen her this past week and despite our plans to get together this weekend, I still can’t shake the feeling that something isn’t right.
