Saint Mirabel Ruins – Edge of Valemont, 4:57 P.M. The old chapel hadn’t been touched in years. What once stood proud with its spires stretching toward the heavens was now nothing more than a husk of stone, half-swallowed by ivy and silence. Time had carved its ruin with patient cruelty. Wind rattled through broken stained glass windows, their once-sacred colors reduced to jagged shards that glimmered faintly under the gray afternoon light.
