No Means No

Ivy George Nightstone cannot take a hint. I walk briskly through the castle hallways and back to the guest room I’ve been staying in. George catches up to me quickly. He’s tall and moves fast despite his beefy physique. A large hand grabs my arm, preventing me from moving any further. I glare at his hand then direct my annoyance to his face. George isn’t unattractive. He has that rugged handsomeness many shifters have with an unshakeable confidence. Having grown up as an Alpha’s grandson, he’s has always known and understood his place in the world. “What do you want?” I demand more than ask. “I have things to do.” He gives me that charming smile. “There’s no need to be hostile. I thought we were friends.” “We’re not friends. You wanted to sleep with me, and I said no. End of story.”
